Dynamite Kid is one of the biggest lies the IWC has ever created. He's an okay worker, and he wrestled fast paced matches. However, he wasn't revolutionary, Tatsumi Fujinami, Kengo Kimura, and Steve Keirn were wrestling his style of matches better than him, years before Dynamite even got to New Japan.

How can you deny the fact that his matches with Tiger Mask(Sayama) haven't been practically a blueprint for many cruiserweights to this day. I can respect you thinking he is overrated, but a lot of people in the business will tell you in the ring he was great. Overly stiff perhaps, but still great. Out of the ring he was a jerk. Plus I think a lot of guys respected that he was legit tough & could shoot if needed.

Man you can really tell that he trained Chris Benoit. The hooking clothesline are practically the same, the diving headbutt, the snap suplex. But I wonder if DK trained benoit in stu hart's dungeon because i was always told he trained there.

He only wrestled him once before he retired from his injuries so he couldnt train him.......would of been good if they had a few tag matches though wouldnt it?? can you imagine, theyd of complimented eachothers style

I remember DK once snap suplexing the 300 something Barry Darsow (Known as Smash at the time) and Ventura who was commentating went "WOW, I bet the Kid can snap suplex ANYONE!". Very cool comment from a cool customer.

Kid is one of the best ever seen, and its a damn shame he had that mysterious falling out (keep reading diff stories) with his couz. Guess Kid had the last laugh tho, he was the one who introduced Davey Boy to steroids............
