  • Правильно: У меня много работы, потому что у меня много работы

    ;)

  • I am learning russian, and today the processor did not explain the topic very clear.

He said something about greeting another russian, and if you know his Father's name, you are suppose to greet the guy with his father's name in the middle. I am very confuse. Please explain what the russian rule is to when you greet someone when its formal.

Additional question: What if I don't know his or her fathers name? How do I greet a person...

  • It's great to see when someone try to learn. Funny to watch text grammar) Hello from Russia, how going your study?

  • @druid80lvl Going well. Thanks for stopping by. How are you?

  • I wanna fix your mistake on board:

you wrote:"У меня много деньги потому что, у меня две работы"

right "У меня много денЕГ(a genitive form - родительный падеж) , потому что у меня две (- good) работы" (put coma before "потому что" emphasize result). Russian grammar is very hard. So

  • I have a personal question for you. But, by all means you may or may not answer it. What is your profession? Do you teach languages or is this your hobby? Because I am very interest in studying languages too.

  • Your a great teacher, this is helping me out alot. I am also using Living Language audio/book course. I speak English and Spanish (I'm Puerto Rican/Spanish) So far I am trying to learn Russian and German.

  • I admire your commitment and desire to study Russian language. It's really not easy.

You have an error is present in words, but it is normal for the learning process. I can help you, if you want to inquire about the correct spelling of difficult words for you.

P.S. I am writing this message, using the on-line translator, as you) But from Russian into English.

  • very good lesson, but

окончание у слова "девушка" меняется по другому: в именительном - девушка, в родительном - девушки (а у тебя написано "девушкы")

после на работы - не по-русски, правильно после работы

    but your russian great!

  • Hello Laoshu! I recomend you to use google translate for a little bit check of your sentences, before you learn some words dependences in Russian. Seeing in Russian language almost all words depending from each other. For example, "I want to drink a bottle of juice." is translate as "Я хочу выпить бутылку сока."

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I'm quite afraid to use online translators because they're not 100% accurate most of the time.

  • @laoshu505000
