@boohface62 I worked with Pebble on her last major project the summer of the year she died. I received a copy of the CD as soon as it was released. There's a vid of sorts on FB now of a tune co-written by Pebble and Toni (and Deborah Allen.) Why the full performance vid from the Bluebird 1987 is withheld and not restored digitally, I do not know, nor would any reason make sense to me. If the FB vid goes to YT I'll give you a shout.
I don't know about that, but I doknow about the posthumous CD that was issued by friends (including Tracy's bassist, Toni Sehulster). If you do a Google search, you should be able to dig up info on it. Some good stuff. It's a shame she didn't record more--and that no album was ever released during Pebble;s lifetime.
I agree, ericz1980. Sadly, everyone who was on stage at this concert is underrated. That's the great thing about youtube - these astounding performances can live on and continue to be seen and appreciated.
Tracy used this as a closer on this special and in many of her late 80s gigs in general. It's an ideal number to close out a show, rousing and spirited.
Voice like the mother of god. . .and so damn hot. . .

Pebble singing backup! What a voice and what a woman. Rip.

lets give it up for Larry Chaney, now with the Edwin McCain Band. He is one of the best guitarist and very under rated.

Didn't know BB had done it. Thanks, Herr von Kallahann.

He did indeed. And there are several clips of him performing it here on YouTube.

Originally a BB King tune.
