I live on Oxford street and forgot about this a few Sundays ago. I was wondering why it was so fucking dusty around my house.Nothing like being soaked in asbestos...

Has this building been replaced with a newer buiilding...or did ASU decide to reduce their on-campus student living space?

That building hasn't been used for years due to asbestos, IIRC

They built 2 new dorms within the last 5 or so years, Texan and Centenial.

From what I understand, they are turning that area into more recreational space.

Nevermind, they closed it in Summer 2004 due to increasing maintenance costs and it would cost way too much to renovate or convert it for another use.

The building has been closed for a while...but when they closed this building down, they opened up Texan Hall. Now they even built a new dorm, Centennial Village....but IMHO they won't ever be as good as Concho and University
