  • If instead of training men for being soldiers they were trained to become scientist, then human kind would already found the cure for every single desease on the planet. Always destruction and pittance of the soul over evolution and richness of human values. This is the unavoidable path for human's race extinction. :(

  • @edsedlavzelaznog that is so good ..i was a soldier by 16..if i only knew then what i know now.always money for war, never enough for education

  • @sabreyow Yes, never enough for education. That is a real shame. We would live into a planet free from problems, polution, diseases and hate already. What a waste of time warfare is.

  • @edsedlavzelaznog Let's start our own country.

  • @JLXOutlaw Hahaha... Really??? Are you up to start our own country???? It would be quite nice indeed. A country free of bad things and only with good and fresh roots and elements to start with.

  • @edsedlavzelaznog A little eugenics might be needed of course, wipe out all the greedy pigs of humanity, start fresh.

    Greed=death

    selfishness=death

If our forefathers of this country only knew what it would become... my God... they would have been horrified.

I can't wait until I die, to ask them what they really think of our great country.

    Sure, freedom is BEAUTIFUL.

But, did freedom really have to lead to this? It could have been so much better.

    It's disappointing, really.

  • @JLXOutlaw Oh yes it is. Freedom seems to cost much more than it was expected for every nation on this world. If happiness and freedom are such a great gift provided by God himself to all of us, humans, then why is so hard to make it real and understandable?? I think that our forefathers would be very dissapointed of what we, their children, are making in order to restore freedom. There must be better ways to live in peace and freedom rather than making violence and destruction everywhere.

  • @edsedlavzelaznog It's just that this primitive mentality that has been created for survival, the notion "the strong survive, the weak shall perish," is incredibly pretentious. It not only affects our evolution as human beings but it harms our worldview as well.

If only we could stop with the greed and the primitive notion that WE MUST BE THE VERY BEST, could we actually GET somewhere. Irony at best.

Unfortunately, due to the ignorance and retardation of a few countries, the world must suffer.

  • @JLXOutlaw Now, if you believe we are nothing more then mere ANIMALS... Then my statements are completely invalid. We need not do anything more then Eat, Sleep, Fuck, and Fight. If that is our nature, we might as well live it.

But... but if you believe we are MORE then just animals... it's time to discover our true potential as human beings. We are no longer cavemen, we have evolved, surpassed all expectations... and what direction are we heading? I believe, we are devolving, going backwards.

  • @JLXOutlaw Yes, you are right saying that retardation and ignorance of a few countries make the world suffer. I have already been part of that behaviour sometimes in my own job where I always try to do things the best way possible but sometimes others just don't care and spoil the efficiency process. They are reckless and try to evade responsabilities. The same happens with thievery.

  • @edsedlavzelaznog I am sorry. That's hard, especially when your intentions are pure and someone else has to demolish the outcome.

If we were held accountable not for our intentions but for the outcome of a situation... held accountable by "God", life would not be even possible... We would all be DAMNED.

  • why ARE THERE MONKEYS TRAINING OUR RECRUITS.

  • @UnitedGaming11 fuck you bastard some of the best marines in the world are black men.

  • @UnitedGaming11 This coming from a loud mouthed, snot nosed, limp dick civilian who thinks he's something because of a fucking video game! You don't have the balls to even walk over the path of any of these men you sorry ass cum stain.

  • No offence because i know its not easy and i love the marines, But my training with the british army was twice as hard as this, and 3 times longer

  • There WILL be no dislikes of this video.

  • WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING THE SWORD AT 4:40?

  • That seems like the hardest part of boot camp is answering the higher comanders questions i have a fealing i would answer the wrong questions

  • HEY! IM FROM MESA!!! :D THATS SOOO FREAKIN COOL!!!

  • phase 1 look hardest to me

  • @wize11 I agree. seems the hardest part about phase 1 isn't necessarily just the physical stress but the mental stress as well

  • Once a Marine Always a Marine!! Boot camp experience is something you can't really talk about or see, you have to live through it in order to understand. Marine 4Life. Fox Company Platoon 2062 April 23, 2004.

  • Comment removed

  • o yea..tht previous message came from an 18 year old just a couple of months out of high school

  • even though the video series is fantastic i would say that the greatest moment was from 9:05 to the end because you could see that the platoon drill instructor fought hard to not smile..and i learned that the proudest and strongest bond is between a marine instructor and the recruit as that instructor has made one of the greatest marine to ever take a breath, and that alone would make me join....oorah

  • @greentea1494 you not the only one in that boat

  • Less than two years.........I need to stop watching these vids and focus on getting good grades in high school lol.

  • @greentea1494 good choice my friend lol

  • @greentea1494 stop playin videogames, retard

  • @greentea1494 if you're going to join the corps...eff your grades, ha.

  • @greentea1494 Who knows? You may want to become an officer after being enlisted. Grades might help. :]

  • @greentea1494 Same here

  • @greentea1494 im on the home stretch. 6 months feels like a long time

  • I got like 3-6 more years but I'm still excited always wanted to be a marine

  • wOOOO!! joining next year!! can't wait to become a marine and get yelled at xD!!!

  • Training to be a driver for UPS was like this. I respect what it takes to be a marine. When I got my brown van I was so proud.

  • @ilikezappa lol

  • not much longer for this guy cant wait to become a marine

  • Added 10 pounds of muscle in 2-3 months?!?! Yea right unless he's on roids or has never worked out a day in his life before joining

  • @MRxLOP3Zx714 dude we are talking about the army here...

  • @buujack The average bodybuilder gains about 10-12 pounds of muscle a year... How do they do it in 2-3 months? Marines > Army

  • I CANNOT WAIT!! TWO MORE YEARS!

  • Awwww so sweet best looking shoes =] i want good looking shoes 2

  • its so great to see that you can tell that the drill instructor and commanding officer are proud with smiles on their faces

  • how is the inspection at 6:58 bad? u dont ynderstand whasts so bad abou it they just check ur weapon

  • @marineman825 The recruit forgot his drill movement in front of the CO...I went through in '88, my instructor would have fed me my weapon when the CO was gone.

  • @hutch1111111 whats a co

  • @marineman825 Battalion Commanding Officer

  • His weapon got snatched from him. lol

  • DUDE!!!!!!!!!!! im a senor in high school and our inspection is better then that : o

  • MARINES DO NOT HAVE BASIC TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY BOOT CAMP!!!!

  • the "marching" in these videos make me sick, so many duckfooted recruits. Did they even make the adrenaline rush thunder sound that it does now? I'm glad the drill is given more attention now.

  • Where's the "CRUCIBLE" in all of this?

  • @meltdownman1 sorry for accidentally giving you a thumbs down man, i was trying to click "reply." I don't believe the crucible existed then. i think the crucible designed in 1996.

  • lucky fuck at 6:58....

  • 7.25 Sniggering at the officer? I'm in the Irish Defence Forces and if we did that we'd be on a one way trip to hell.

  • @Lousypenguin you have to remember this is old. It's different now.

  • I'm hesitating if I'm going to college or joined the Marine as soon as possible but we can't afford for my college it is so damn expensive I'm the only but I decided to join this year.

  • how much is the wieght that they carry?

  • @TheSilverBrick1 full gear is going to be around 80 pounds dry

  • @TheSilverBrick1 probably around 50 pounds full gear since they're just in training. Depending on your job in the Corps you carry anywhere from 15 to 90 plus pounds. Like mortar teams will carry about 150 pounds of equipment.

  • what happens at 6:58 that everyone is talking about

  • 14 pull ups now up from 3. damn. good for him.

  • Okay, not sure why there's comments about 6:58, but the nightmare actually is at 7:24. Holy crap, I can't believe the recruit did that. Senior would have had his butt shortly thereafter.

  • @2fine4u2eat that is where he is first introduced :P

  • "mkay"

  • do they have their ties sticking out like that on purpose?

  • daaaaamn, just watching a video of them completing the third phase made me feel proud, and I didn't even do anything!

  • @1994AlmostSkater

    it was the music hahahaha

  • damn. idk if it's the cameras or hollywood but in PI, definitely wouldn't have been like that. and wtf is with the neckties?

  • why are their neck ties like that?

  • why did you join the mc ,to fight to join the fight in afghanistan sir!

  • I wana finish basic training go to Marine corps Recon and then idk if its possibly try for navy seals or specials forces or something.

  • @juju1006539 You have to join the Navy to be a Seal. Most you can do is work your ass off and hope to get MARSOC tryouts.

  • @jakethesnake9901 im not a Marine myself but i know plenty of people who are, they do NOT...whoever told you that is full of shit...the Marine Corps is a fighting force, not some fraternity, you are not to be sexually, verbally or physically abused in the Marines, if someone did this and thinks everyone else had to as well they are an idiot

  • @Darkassassin0317 theres heaps of verbal abuse in Boot Camp. What are you talking?

  • 8:28 kinda reminds me of Pvt. Pyle from Full Metal Jacket lol xD

  • Comment removed

  • we had a recruit knock the cover off our series commanders head when he did inspection arms during the company comanders inspection. That motherfucker got slayed back at the squadbay lol goodtimes

  • Deciding to join the military is a decision to become something great that will allow you to succeed in many things. My advice to you is to ask yourself if you really want it. If you do you will not allow others to effect your decision. Hesitation kills. Oohrah!

  • I'm considering join the U.S. Military, but the only thing that is keeping from from my final choice is my girlfriend, can someone tell me what I should do?

  • @Mrspeddy3 Reserves?

  • @Mrspeddy3 if she cant respect your decision and what you want to do, find someone better who will.

  • @Mrspeddy3 Dump Dump, Dumpiddy Dump Dump

  • @Mrspeddy3 Honestly just like megafreak says if shes not on board...maybe its not worth the extra luggage. i went through the same thing when i joined the marine corps. Girlfriend didn't want anything to do with it, i moved on without her and it was the best time of my life being in the marines. you'll never make friends like those you make in the military and you'll never experience anything quite like it. Anywhere. Period.

  • Can somebody tell me what that thing they are doing at 1:54 is for? Looks like fun, but seems utterly useless.

  • @TheXtremeSniper ive chosen the marine corps but im just a poolee but if you hear a US Army soldier say that Marines are the best then to me its obvious

  • @theBrownman28

Dude been in for almost a year. About to go to Japan for 2 years 3 if i like it. Fucking hated but liked bootcamp. Hints make a calendar sucks at first when you look at it and you have like 90 fucking days of hell left but once you get to 3rd Phase your calendar is your best friend. Make sure you have your parents send you information on sports, etc. Also music is fucking amazing so you will miss it. So have your parents send you lyrics to songs. Gl man hope this helps.

  • 9:19...was he tearing up there?

  • Can someone explain to me what was wrong with the inspection?

  • at 8:56 did he say OH rah?

  • @FMJalltheWAY oh, ok

  • @dudeilove

And how would u know that?

  • The MCRD Museum is fucking awesome.

  • awww.... damn! it brings back memories! thanks for the upload!

  • 1:45 why is that barbed wire so close? They are like physically moving it around

  • what happened at 6:58?

  • I heard they don't have mess week anymore

  • @chargamer whats mess week? ive never heard of it

  • @chargamer lol just watched it and now i feel like an idiot lol yeah its team week you just spend an entire week doing random working parties around the base.

  • I really think they make nearsighted marines wear those glasses to humilitate them >.> why else would they make the like that? There are shatter proof glasses that have thinner lens- they're called flexons

  • oh man 6:58, so lucky there was a camera there.

  • @InsightVidya who gives the ass chewing the officer or the instructor?

  • @geoff101001

    both

  • @InsightVidya you ever see an officer go off on a drill instructor?

  • @InsightVidya haha no doubt... no bearing what so ever! he would have been in the pit eating sand!

  • ....things sure have changed

  • 2:22 seriously? stabbing him in the groin cause youre not tall enough?

  • i was 200lbs and by the time i graduate i was around 160lbs it was fucken hard but at the same time it was the best thing i have ever done!! USMC SEMPER FI

  • @michoacan684 Hoorah

  • This is all a bunch of flippin bullshit!!! it is nothing liek this!

  • ouch face full of dirt at 2:08 :/

  • @ussoldiersm316 2:07 is more like it

  • the kipping pullups and the ass off the ground situps dont fly now either. not to mention you dont even do situps you do crunches now

  • So I have a question, when do you get the black and red uniform? Do you have to reach a certain class or something? I thought you got it when you graduated, but it looks like they r wearing that gray uniform

  • The "black and red" uniform is the Dress Blue uniform. It's actually navy blue not black, haha. I'm not sure why they don't get it. You don't have to reach a certain rank or anything to get it, I don't think. The uniform they're wearing is Service Alphas. They're green.

  • @heroes91092 They do get it at bootcamp now but its a new thing, like very new. They didn't use to issue them in bootcamp now they do and they graduate in dress blue deltas only the guide and the drill instructors where the whole thing which is that navy blue jacket and with red trim that you are thinking of.

  • @babbsiscool ok thanks for the info :)

  • "outstanding shoes, those are the best shoes" lol!

  • Wow they have high and tights as early as late First or as early Second Phase. My series was cut bald till are last week on the Island. You could barely see are high & tights when we graduated. LOL. Also San Diego recruits have red guide flags throught out training, while at PI we had "piss yellow" flags in First & Second Phase and recieving the red guide flags in Third Phase.

  • That recuit at 7:00 was pitifull, and completely lost his bearing- totally unsat. I was in Plt. 3014, 3012 series, from Nov. 21, '88 to Feb. 14, '89 at Parris Island. that dude would have failed the Blt inspection and recycled. Also I saw their SDI smile at 8:05. Crazy! Also their marching was was terrible, they were'nt in step- look at 3:19 and 5:06- terrible! I know they did'nt win the drill competition. The Btl commander was weak to.

  • Wow, I aspire to become a Marine officer and that Battalion Commander definitely sets an example for being intimidatingly professional. Marines definitely set a higher standard.

  • That inspection at 6:58 is absolutely disgusting.

  • I agree, everyone that I served with and went to bootcamp with remembered seeing this and if the camera had not been there that guide would have gotten an awesome ass chewing on the spot and gotten trashed as well.

  • @Chestysayswatchdis someone please explain this to me..?

  • @Chestysayswatchdis Im not sure what exactly you are refering to ?

  • @Chestysayswatchdis I'm confused. Was the inspection at 6:58 innapropriate because of how he snatched the gun away from the recruit?

  • @Chestysayswatchdis Im going to go ahead and disagree... These are technically Maruits... or Marines in Recruit training.. Since they had the EGA ceremony already... We still got chewed out after we got our EGAs but never as bad as we did as recruits... Them Marines probably got chewed out by the DI when they got back for making him look bad... but the BC is not likely to actually chew Marines out himself.

  • @Chestysayswatchdis he was also on camera maby that scared him haha

  • Yeah that was embarassing to watch; the terrible Inspection Arms, the dumb answers, and the SMILING (no no no!!). He had better be glad the Batallion Commander was supercool.

  • @eitan342

wow....that has to be the most pathetic excuse for an inspection I've ever seen....that faggot had NO intensity, or sense of motivation in his body at all, and he was totally fucking lost in the sauce! losing his bearing all over the fucking place...fucking pathetic...

  • @eitan342 what exactly are you refering to ?

  • @eitan342 how is it disgusting? i dont understand

  • @eitan342 Yeah, how do you mean it's disgusting??

  • @eitan342 I feel like everything in these videos is disgusting! Even the DI's

  • that one guy started at 3 pull ups whoa... lol

  • luv those wet ass ensigns...navy. seen them sent to there state room crying. cause they crossed a seasoned enlisted..LOL.

  • Whoa, this goes back a few years. The Drill Instructor at 2:57 was one of mine when I went through in August 1989.

  • outstanding!
