I beg to differ. Tonto means idiot while pronto means fast. Aprende means learn. If you say tonto y aprende, it appears that you're saying "idiot and learns" while saying "pronto yo aprende" means, "i'm a fast learner."
So I guess "Pronto yo aprende" is much appropriate because he is insisting Fernando Torres (who might be that guy) to quit teaching him because he's a fast learner.
no i beg to differ !! i speak spanish fluently, and he says "quita, quita tonto y aprende..." which means "get away idiot and learn". he's implying that he plays better than the professional player.
if he were syaing what you think he's saying, in spanish it would be "yo aprendo rapido", not pronto (which would be incorrect), nor aprende (which is the the 3rd person of the singular form).
Oh shoot. I forgot I'm speaking Chavacano here, not Spanish. *headdesk*
Anyway, I'm from the Philippines. Zamboanga to be exact. People here speak Chavacano, usually known as Broken Spanish, but really means "poor" or "common" or "vulgar" in Spanish.
So yeah. Some words are really different and similar. But that's how I understood it. Haha.
maybe is much appropiate but he said " anda anda quita ,tonto, y aprende" it means something like "well get out dumb and learn it" and sounds like he was kidding him
