"Trust and Obey for there's no other way" is the old hymn that came to my mind as I listened to this message Preaching on the fear of God is sadly missing from the pulpits of today Even the word OBEY seems to have vanished and we look to God to meet our needs without doing our part, which is what Bro. I am very sorry to hear that Pastor David Wilkerson is no longer with us in this world. I have listened to several of his previous sermons and I thought he was a great preacher. His sermons were powerful and hit home to the heart. I grew up during Brother Wilkersons life and ministry and am very sad today although my sad is mixed with joy when my mind sees him supping with Jesus as we grieve His loss. Ah, my two oldest brothers are attending his ministry school, and my youngest brother is about to do the same! We heard the sad news through them while they were at Mt. Zion, and it's a shock to us all. David Wilkerson was used of the Lord to bring my father to Christ, and I will forever be grateful for that!!! I pray that God gives his family peace as they deal with the loss of someone so incredibly special! I know that his life has blessed my own family in many ways!! He will be missed!!!

Thank you very much for sharing, also here in Holland I read as a young girl on his mission in New York. The book is called here: the Cross in the asphalt jungle of Nicky and many others who lived in the street gangs and how they came to the Lord. I have also may hear his conversion story, he was here in the Netherlands to testify about the greatness of the Lord Jesus in his life and he was full of it.

I have read that book for many times.

If I am not mistaken, this is the same David Wilkerson who wrote the book "Run Baby Run" with Nicky Cruz. I read this book as a teenager.

We were all very privilaged to have this man of God in our lives preaching the gospel of Jesus! Thank you Jesus. I pray that all of his loved ones have the peace of Jesus upon them.

Me heart grieves over the loss of this great Warrior General, He was an Eagle in the Spirit, a true Seer! He is walking on streets of Gold, and He is looking face-to-face with his friend Jesus Christ. There are prophecies that he spoke which have not come to pass yet, but they shall surely come to pass.
