Are you going to pay for that child's food, clothing, education, etc.? No, the person who you are restricting their right to choose their future, they will have to. @SeriousPsyche Thanks for your reply. In all honesty, I actually would help to pay for a child's food, clothing etc. if I had a neighbor that needed help. I know a lot of people who do. My church does a lot of that kind of helping people. But being willing to help or not, I still think that parents should not be allowed to terminate their offspring just because they don't want to have the hassle of paying for the child's necessities. I think the government has a place in restricting that.

In other words, I don't want a government that exceeds it's constitutional boundaries. However, this does not mean that I want no government. I think govt is very important for some things. One of govt.'s most important responsibilities in my opinion is to protect innocent life from those who would kill whether foreign or domestic.
