Beta one? What version are you using? Make sure you use a later version like 703, or 705. To add a keyframe you can just right-click on the stickfigure's timeline and select "Insert Keyframe". But make sure you already added a frameset to do that. Or in the Tool Box, you can click on the icon with a stick that shows an arrow to another stick.

The very last keyframe that's at the end of each frameset is what I meant.

Right click it then click on "set pose to previous keyframe" when your done with your animation.

When you do that, you don't have to worry about hiding that keyframe incase it doesn't look

like the keyframe BEFORE that one, and having to overlap it.

That's exactly what I meant to, you have to hold shift key and click the stick layer name, when it turns red, then you can see the onion skinning of the last frame you animated. Did you even try it out? =/

Oh and, you won't be able to see the onion skinning if you have a bitmap backround in the stage, you have to hide the backround (H-key) then you'll be able to see it.

You have to hold the "shift" key on your keyboard then click on a stick layer's name, it should turn red. That means onion skinning is on.

Other people also say Pivot is alot easier, so I will keep using Pivot and I will not use Tisfat.

You need to really experiment with Tisfat to get better at it, and Pivot takes more time to animate something.Tisfat is less time consuming. It's not really "hard" at all. Why not just use both programs? I use Pivot Flash AND Tisfat. =p

I first used Pivot and I saw one of Rhan's video's and asked him where he made it with and he said that he made it with Tisfat. So I downloaded Tisfat, but I did'nt understand how it worked so I searched for a tutorial. And guess, the tutorial was from the same person that told me about Tisfat.

You have to make a custom stick figure to bend the back, and I use my own hit effects.

Yeah when you right click a keyframe and select "onion skinning", but if you want to see the previous frames then you'd have to onion skin the frames before them.

Go to file then movie properties and set the width and height dimensions in the boxes, then save the movie and re-open it again. Or you could change the movie's dimensions after you click "file - new movie".

When you apply to keyframe, then you're editing just one keyframe, but when you apply to layer, then it applies to the entire frameset. But with defaults it don't really matter 'cause I never had to apply to the layer, I just applied to the keyframe. It still applies it to other keyframes.

You can click on a keyframe of a default stick and put it's width and length to "0". After that you could add a "Line" layer into the Timeline and set it's width to the same of the stick's arms/legs. Then you could just animate the "Line" as if it was the arm or leg.

Lol, it's tweened.

The programs tweens the frames that you didn't add "keyframes" to, so it automatically does the movements for you, but you have to set the beginning and last poses/positions first.
