A line weighted with so much meaning. His capitalist ambitions have reduced him to such childlike decadence that he doesn't even care if his servant sees that he's killed a man, like asking him to wipe his arse after he's gone to the toilet. So pertinent to today's laissez-faire politicians.

I agree!! Kubrick would have been proud of this movie! The story is incredible (a plot that he may have seleceted if he had the chance to create another masterpiece) and even Kubrick just can´t push the main actor to a better performance! And one thing I liked the most about Kubrick movies are the incredible endings!! And this film shows following generation of directors how it´s done! (if there are some failures in my words I`m sorry I have to admit....I´m german ;) )

@IWantDaveKast That's what I was thinking! And this last part in the scene, just after a death with a classical piece breaking right in, reminded me of Clockwork Orange for some reason, but yeah this shot is very Kubrick...
