John Power Why do ryanair and easyjet refuse jaktogo to advertize in the in their on board magazine are they afraid the will lose extra money on extra weight at the check in /gate ‘’ wizzair had no problem’’
I'd agree with that I guess. The common enemy to all fans of LOI, be they Bohs, Rovers, Pats, Sligo or anyone else is the barstooler fan who goes to the pub and watches football from other countries! If Irish people supported Irish football properly, clubs could afford the wages we are paying to the quality players we currently have. Instead it looks like the league is going backwards, financially at least
@Modder yes thats it......thats what were up against , the we done it merchants...great win for us yesterday......who are you.s playing to morrow....yes irish people talking about english clubs.......these people are not football fans.....morons maybe
@Modder Look, in fairness I agree with this too. It is just banter. But look at the state of the LOI this season. 2 Teams losing their bottle in the finale? For me Sligo Rovers are the team that should be champions. At least they look a side. Bohs and Rovers both have financial problems. Bohs problems are more public and ongoing. But Rovers are in serious danger of going down the same road again. It is a worry. Slagging is one thing but at least we can all agree we'd prefer a secure league?
@timbook disagree with you saying sligo should be champions....they wont be champions because they did not get enough points ..simple as that.....rovers or bohs will win the league ...because they will have the points ,,,and as we know thats what the league is decided on... but i know where your comeing from with sligo....lovely side
were not homeless now micheal.....we have a huge stadium you could fit a hanger in to it and when your airline is long gone ..we will still be here,,,,,,up the hoops
Homeless tramps from tallaght? Not too bright are you jmeehan1? If you actually knew what you were talking about you'd know that Shamrock Rovers originated in Ringsend. I'm from Tallaght born and bred but I at least know my facts before I post whereas you are just an ignorant fool.
Jasus O'Leary might want to get with the times, The SRFC have a home and he might want to take note that the 50's and 60's were golden eras as was the 80's and we've honours in the 90's too.
honours in the 90's? Take another look. 1 honour in the early 90's! No plural there. And to be fair, Rovers still don't have a home. They have a base, owned and provided by south dublin county council.
I think you will find that Rovers did have honours in the 90's.They won the LOI in the 93-94 season & Leinster Cup in 97,yes its an honour, won 1st Division in '06quite an achievement when you actually know what this club has been through.Yes they rent, pay their way, like many people in the world but they deserve a lot more respect than your giving, you don't have to support them but no other LOI team has done 4 in a row.
I should have said trophies worth mentioning. Imagine living off the 4 in a row that was done in the dark ages. Done I might add by bribing all the best Bohs players of the time and by spending above your means. All the top teams have done it once but Rovers are doing it again.....now. But sure they'll probably have their debts cleared anyway. Still, only 1 club currently putting a run of titles together ;-)
@timbook what club's that? Hardly the one thats going down the tubes as we speak (hope you have the €400,000 installment due to Zurich soon).Plus if you think Rovers are spending above their means at the moment I think you'll find you are sadly mistaken & your facts are probably based on the drivel printed in the Tribune. We know how well our club is being run & that's all that matters, certainly aren't bothered by bitter wishful-thinkers.Anyway hope your EGM went well tonight ;-)
@delgirl0579 Shamrock Rovers made a loss of over 600K last season. The expected loss due this year will put it over a million. In only 2 years! The taxpayers bailed you out when you went into examinership the last time. No other club would be helped in such a way.
And now the same bitter drivel that Rovers fans wanked on about last season about Bohs not meeting the salary car protocol after Rovers lost their bottle in the last few weeks of the title race is happening again!
@LarryFogarty Maybe you're right Larry. It started off as a bit of fun over what a tool like Michael O'Leary says. It's sometimes too easy to fall into bitterness when it's actually bitterness itself that you are responding to, from both sides though you know? Banter and Bitterness are subjective! But if the 400K Bohs need to find ASAP is a fact, then Rovers still having no ground is also a fact? And I know that Rovers are again making a large loss this season. Once bitten, you'd think?
@Modder thats fair enough modder.....even thou i am rovers..i hope bohs clear of all there debts....i hate to see any league of ireland clubs in trouble.... and id say neither do you
you get what you pay for. "you get a bed and a blowjob", as micheal o leary says :D

THE state has spent more than €6.8m in the past 5 yrs on flights to send failed asylum-seekers back to their countries.
6,000 people are now classified as 'evading deportation' with only a quarter of all orders actually ever implemented.
In the past 6 yrs, justice ministers have signed close to 8,500 deportation orders fewer than 2,500 of these have ended in repatriation.
