@UkrGaz Yes, they did. And all the maps that didn't make it to UT3 was later re-made in Unreal Engine 3 and added to their website as free DLC, LATER known as the Titan DLC which was later known as the Black Edition.

And now Assault is dead!

Why? Because of 100 of ppl who came to Epic Games and said they hate trials!

But they didn'ts ay it, if they didn't want Assault, but that is the reason, that Assault is now dead!

It was not played very much on the Internet according to Epic but I agree Assault were a great mode.

There is several things you could do to improve UT3 to get back the hardcore feeling to the Deathmath mode like speed up the music and all those big maps made the game feel very slow (Shangri La).

Though there are some downloadable map packs that have real good old-school feeling.

Also epic could have released some nice remade maps from UT2004 and UT99.

this is a great game, my only complaint is the amount of palyers, but luckily plenty of users ahve created custom models

Well--I just bought this,and my main complaint with UT 04 was the graphics. Particularly with the character models--they just looked too cartoonish, and arcade game like. From what I can see in reviews, this will be hopefully a big improvement in that regard--more realism overall.

Now, let's surprise you all... it does work!!! Character models are like one big pixel though because I have to run the game with everything at X-Low. The fact that I can run in in a resolution of 620x480 max does say a lot!

It is playable but it hurts my eyes so I'll try it again when I get a new PC in a couple of months!

All the "special features" the guy mentions in the vid, were already established in UT99! It had it all.

UT99 is still the best game ever.
