A college graduate may make a million dollars more in his or her lifetime with a degree--but you don't get that million right after you graduate. What is the PRESENT VALUE of a million spread out over 40 years or more? Probably around $300,000. It's like the lottery--getting a check for $50,000 a year for 20 years is worth LESS than getting a million all at once.
This is so true. We go to college with hopes of graduating and making a decent living only to find ourselves running in place. We go to college to get a nice job and paycheck only to hand it back to the college for the rest of our lives.
I have a question. With a college tuition you wouldn't have to pay it all at once or before that year of graduation you can still be paying the tuition when your career has started?
no wonder so many ppl dont go to school
