i bet anything that lanzar optidrive 1232 d subwoofers can handle more than that mtx thunder 9500. i want to see you guys test both of those subs then say that mtx is better. i have out beat any mtx subwoofer out there and i am only running a one channel amp 1400 watt lanzar optidive and it is bridged for two subwoofers. but i am fixin to put 2 2000 watt amps on each of my lanzar opti drive subwoofers.

@bigdaddybass80 nope ive had the optis for almost 4 months and they blew off a crunch pza 2k..the optis have 2 soft spiders,heavy cone and coil blow from mechaical problems, there loud but they dont last long thats why there so cheap.. they also like small ported boxes, big ones like mine obvesly blowem lol.. 95s slam pretty hard too, i mean optis def slam but there def not as loud or realible as the 95s

Yeah, JL Audio subs are more directed to sounding great rather than just being loud, though they do get loud but not as loud as " over dramatic " a 24 inch Jack Hammer . Matter of fact the W6 has been said to be one of thee best SQ woofers to have ever been made.

This video is extremely misleading, they were obviously clipping the kicker and JL, send me all 3 subs and I can pick wich one I want to win too lol and also jl is a sq subwoofer and really shouldn't be disrespect by comparing to the other subs, the w7 is in a class all by itself... @SethT95xbox respectivly disagree, if something have that much of a surround, like the w7, why wouldnt it be used for SPL? and that high of watts, the l7 is square, and thus removing it from the round competition all together. but kicker has different subs for different set-ups, as does jl. but i am a kicker fan. :)

i guarantee if u put 2000 rms on that itll smoke it up in about 10 minutes. it irritates the shit outta me when companies try to sell garbage to people, trying to fool them. yea it will hit hard as hell, but i guarantee it wont hit the lows nearly as good as even a rf p1 will. mainly because its a spl sub. idk why the hell their comparing a w7 tothe 9500, as a w7 is for sq solely. now try to test a fi btl, aa mayhem, dd, or tc subwoofer to the mtx 9500. I GUARANTEE it wont hang with them.

just because a 9500 lasted on the wall outlet doesnt mean it hasnt been damaged. i guarantee if u leave it on for longer than 7 minutes, itll darken the voice coil. besides, mtx audio is for loudness, not quality bass. i guarantee if u put a w7, l7, and a 9500 in a box to their specs on the exact same amp for each setup, the w7 will sound the best, then the l7, then the 9500.

Got some L7s ported, but hole in my old school and all. Yeah they dance but those two aren't even in the same lane.

I have over 3000 watts to my 9500 and it doesn't miss a beat .. they are a very nice sub.. But if you have more than 1 you better have airbags on your car so the bummpers don't drag....

And orion is not better. once again someone speaks out who never owned one, but goes off what the manufacturer says.
