@phantompanther I'm sorry, I don't know exactly where the food comes from or what it costs. But I do know the Zoo is very much promoting buying locally grown food, so wherever possible, I am sure the food is coming from not too far away. And, I also know the Zoo is super efficient money-wise, so it will be costing the least possible without compromising quality. The food is all carefully measured, mixed, and prepared on the Zoo grounds by the Zoo staff for all the animals.
