Awesome!  I tried making one when I was a kid - out of 1/2" plywood. Got 2/3rds of the way there (main casing and legs). Would have killed for this. Great work!

I am doing a doc on the film. What is your favorite scene or scenes from the movie? What do you like about the film? Would you rank it in the top ten sci-fi movies, what #? If they mad a remake who would you like to direct it and play Freeman Lowel, Brad Dourif maybe?

The scene where he plays poker with the drones and decides they are cheating is memorable. Or Freeman trying to teach them how to plant a tree. I don't think I'd put it the top ten sf movies, the music is awfully dated and the story has problems too. It would be a good choice for a remake however.
