  • Good job!

  • Awesome! I tried making one when I was a kid - out of 1/2" plywood. Got 2/3rds of the way there (main casing and legs). Would have killed for this. Great work!

  • very cool man! nice job.

  • Very nice!

  • I really love your drone. What excellent execution of time and effort!

  • revolutionary colors...

  • The drones were occupied by amputee actors, (no legs) who walked on their hands.

  • In the movie, how did they get the drones to work? What made them move? Was there someone on them that made it walk? How, when the legs were wide set?

  • Dewey is a cute little robot-drone....I like em ;)

  • That is fantastic, really awesome. Dewey is a star!!!!

  • Awesome!! Great work!

  • I recently for my first time saw an original print of this film. I love it1

  • Dewey.

  • good work. huey & duey are mechanical heros of enviromentalism, even more relavant today than in late 70s

  • @walter0bz; #3 is Radiation Free & will rondevu post 11-1-10's launch with STS133 / ISS to be fitted as the upper torsoed Robonaut begains to take over 'Domestic functions' & 'external maitenance'.

  • This is one of my favourite movies and it is probably the movie that brought me closest to tears.

  • Good job!

    Dewey rocks!

    Tyler Smith

  • Great work! 'Silent Running' is a big favorite of mine, love the drones.

  • this movie is a bit creepy but i like it. im only 11 but i watched Napoleon Dynamite in 2nd grade. creepy huh?

  • WOW... i LOVE this movie with all my heart, especially the drones. i haven't looked for more vids yet, but i hope he's now complete?

  • Jesus! thats awsome!

  • I love these droids.

  • Wow. You probaby could make/customize one into a costume for an amputee, which is whom they used to play the roles of Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Great work!

  • Tom,

You did The Valley Forge Drone Builders Group proud.

  • Amazing. Great movie too.

  • i really like the silent running drones... nice work....

  • I agree! While the movie is somewhat dated the design of the drones was brilliant.

  • I am doing a doc on the film. What is your favorite scene or scenes from the movie? What do you like about the film? Would you rank it in the top ten sci-fi movies, what #? If they mad a remake who would you like to direct it and play Freeman Lowel, Brad Dourif maybe?

  • The scene where he plays poker with the drones and decides they are cheating is memorable. Or Freeman trying to teach them how to plant a tree. I don't think I'd put it the top ten sf movies, the music is awfully dated and the story has problems too. It would be a good choice for a remake however.

  • cool
