Isa and Ana have been active volunteers of the California Transplant Donor Network since receiving their transplants, and have spoken about the importance of organ donation and transplantation in California and across the country. Likewise, their memoir "The Power of Two: A Twin Triumph Over Cystic Fibrosis," published in late 2007, has also helped raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and organ donation and transplantation in the U.S. and abroad.
