I wish they added more aspects of the Fifa Manager instead. Like in Madden franchise you could relocate your team, you can sell food, souveniers, etc, extend the size of the stadium, ticket prices, etc... i mean.. stuff like that. I find it to be fun.(finance simulation freak >:D). as for football manager. i cant really play it on my pc, my comp is literally CRAP. lol Great video though
i never played fifa 10 or fifa 11 but i played fifa 09 and its career mode was alot better from my point of view atleast by the season players improve drastically and their is training which even helps them improve more and if there is training in fifa 12 please do demonstrate
Sincerly, FIFA 12 has FUCKING AWESOME GAMEPLAY, and a crap Career Mode. Like, the be a pro camera SUCKS, there is NO fucking cutscene to awards, and nobody talks about player career mode! Only KSI did it, and I think he didn't play more than 30 min, because it SUCKS.
@NapoliAndProud Also now there is morale and form, besides the other player's stats. They depend on them being in the first team and if they play regulary. There is a new squad ratings menu and squad info where you can see what detailed stats your players are improving and if they're happy or not and why. A fun thing I discovered is that for example if a player is passing a lot they improve passings or if they cross a lot they improve crossing, wich adds realism to the game.

Player's growth is now fixed and works ok, unlike last year where it was random and very bad. There is now an end of transfer day deadline where you have 10 hours to make the last transfers, very good option. Players will let you know if they're happy or not depending if they are playing or in the main team, etc.
@NapoliAndProud Fifa has all the licenses and it's just fun to play career mode and see all teams and players real although Pro has the Champions and Europa League, wich is pretty awesome. I haven't played Pro since the first day but having played 1 season in Fifa, I think the games go better and are more real in Pro..IA in fifa is strange sometimes and defense system is also strange..I think I could have more fun with Pro in the end because of how the games play out...so yea try it out.

I didn't like the menus at all, Fifa's is much better and easy to go through. By Thomas Van Miert, he is 18 and he can play as a Cm, winger or lone striker, his potential is very high, he starts out at 55 but I played him for 2 seasons in which he scored a total of 33 goals, his overall went up to 74.

@playstationer1 Yeah you can, when selecting your team you can swap them with any team you want. (you can see the swap team option from 36 to 45 seconds on this video)
@Calfreezy the player growth is in the squad report. at the end of the season it shows + or - by the players stats from the beginning of the season. so like for me i did manager mode with Man U and Tom Cleverly started the season a 77 and by the end of the season reached and 82, so when i went to squad report it showed +5 by his original overall. props on the vid also
@philly624 unless he's been plaing really well or your playing with ps2, but yeah theres this website called fifafanatic(dot)com that shows the potential of players under 25 with potential over 75, cleverly was stated 84, its pretty reliable as their fifa 11 potential stats were spot on
HEY EVERYONE THERES A GLITCH IN FIFA 12 CAREER MODE!! when you make an offer for a loan for a full season w/ the option to purchase the player if you put 999 million dollars the other team will almost always say yes. i did this and was able to get rooney, messi, and ronaldo on stoke city. its funny if you wanna fuck around. otherwise the new fifa game is superb.

If you don't use your virtual pro then just go on manager mode instead of player manager mode, you can still play every game with the whole team. Also if you fancy a challenge try taking a lower league team up to the prem and champions league. Jim
When you finish a season this year and get offers from other clubs do you actually get the option to play as Player Manager again for the different club, or just Player or Manager, that was a big downfall for me last year, it ruined the whole aspect of changing clubs for me :/

Career Mode is just too unrealistic. At least transfers, i.e. these:
Sneijder to Madrid, Mario Gomez to Inter, Chicharito to Madrid, Benzema to United, Drogba to Leverkusen, Özil to Chelsea, Eto'o back to Inter, Raúl to Barca (hell *ing no).
It's a fun mode, but some transfers are just plain stupid. Less than half of them would ever happen in real life.
Just go on the squad report after a month or so scroll down through the players and someone like Lukaku might would have grown one point which will be indicated with a MASSIVE green +1 next to his name. signifying that he has grown one point overall.
tbh i dont like it too much as playing the cpu takes much more effort with the new defending nd i dont wanna be a noob nd change it to legacy mode - basically i would rather play online as the ppl u play r worse than the cpu on world class :)
started one with man city and kompany was a 84.... after 1 sessson or even less he was a 88! david silva 87-90 ballotelli 81 or 82 - 85 thats so good but it seems to be dying down in sesson 2
@Calfreezy FIFA 11 was so frustrating for that, you would sim a few games because MM gets kinda boring, you lose to Swansea 1-0 in the 90th minute and you get fired, then as soon as you move club your ex-club with the same squad wins the league 3 seasons in a row...

Oh you see the growth on squad report, if you scroll down to a young player playing well he will have an updated overall say he was 79 and he goes up +1 he will have 80+1 to say his new overall but how much he has grown.
@Calfreezy Good, but the AI is bad. they play defensive and don't risk anything. Kinda gets boring and frustrating tbh.
And no, I don't suck at tactical defending, I win just as easily as i did on fifa 11, but it's just not fun to play when i need to spend so much time getting the ball.

@Calfreezy Career mode is better than ever. In my opinion on fifa 11 there was absolutely nothing to do apart from play game after game and it really didn't feel like you were achieving anything. On fifa 12 the menu's are better and more accesable, the new scouting is great as is the new transfer deadline day and how teams bid for your players. New commentators are class and how only monday night/midweek games are at night. Also players interact with you now so overall I think its brilliant :D

Just go on the squad report after a month or so scroll down through the players and someone like Lukaku might would have grown one point which will be indicated with a MASSIVE green +1 next to his name. signifying that he has grown one point overall.

tbh i dont like it too much as playing the cpu takes much more effort with the new defending nd i dont wanna be a noob nd change it to legacy mode - basically i would rather play online as the ppl u play r worse than the cpu on world class :)

started one with man city and kompany was a 84.... after 1 sessson or even less he was a 88! david silva 87-90 ballotelli 81 or 82 - 85 thats so good but it seems to be dying down in sesson 2

when you sim games, do you find the results are realistic? IE in fifa11 when you simmed, the results just werent what they would be

@johnnoSWUK Yeah I do, although sometimes its a surprise. but usually its accurate but sometimes you will lose to a lower team but thats expected :)

@Calfreezy FIFA 11 was so frustrating for that, you would sim a few games because MM gets kinda boring, you lose to Swansea 1-0 in the 90th minute and you get fired, then as soon as you move club your ex-club with the same squad wins the league 3 seasons in a row...

I got so bored of fifa 11 manager mode as well, but fifa 12 has everything I wanted in mm, I love the youth system and growth system, and everything else keeps me playing it.

Oh you see the growth on squad report, if you scroll down to a young player playing well he will have an updated overall say he was 79 and he goes up +1 he will have 80+1 to say his new overall but how much he has grown.

@Calfreezy Good, but the AI is bad. they play defensive and don't risk anything. Kinda gets boring and frustrating tbh.
And no, I don't suck at tactical defending, I win just as easily as i did on fifa 11, but it's just not fun to play when i need to spend so much time getting the ball.

@Calfreezy Career mode is better than ever. In my opinion on fifa 11 there was absolutely nothing to do apart from play game after game and it really didn't feel like you were achieving anything. On fifa 12 the menu's are better and more accesable, the new scouting is great as is the new transfer deadline day and how teams bid for your players. New commentators are class and how only monday night/midweek games are at night. Also players interact with you now so overall I think its brilliant :D
