  • Amazing chords !!!

  • ,I have watched several of your videos, they are very informative.

Good work, and great music. I am going to buy vanguard soon, very impressed after seeing it in your video and then researching it.Thanks!

  • Hey man. So.. You got classic dub techno chords and a smooth techno beat. But the bassline is what Dub Techno makes it called Dub Techno. Dub comes from reggea but this aint reggea by far. no offense :) cheers!

  • @Gosu85 your right about Dub, yes its all about the bass, and if you look at my latest video there is more recent stuff which I explain this video is very old and of coarse its not bass heavy.

  • @Gosu85 of coarse this is not reggae its dub Techno. and my last tracks that I have been producing are very LO FI bass.

  • @atabeylive Anyway, I dont make a difference keep it up, keep it raw :)

  • reeeeeeeed

  • hi, nice, but where did you get your instuments pack ?

  • @rtyhp6nl the drum kit is in ableton impulse instrument folder.

  • @atabeylive ok, thx =)

  • where did u get the QWERTY Impulse drum kit used for this vid?

  • Great video dude.....very interesting and easy to follow!

  • @mainnnnnnn so is Vanguard, which is one that I use for this demo.

  • @mainnnnnnn operator is veerrrryyyyy good believe me.

  • nice work man! very visual for the people.

  • @mainnnnnnn tal plugin if you look at my videos one that shows dub techno information page.

  • Your bassline is kind of in B minor, but you put your stab chords as a G minor chord. That means there are going to be lots of times when your bass pattern and your chord have notes playing 1 semitone away from each other... which don't sound so great. When you do your bass, try to figure out the "root".. the strongest feeling note. In your pattern it's the 6th one in. B. That's kind of the anchor. Then when you build your "1-3-7" chord (a minor chord) try to put the "1" on the same note.

  • @getkristan thanks for the tip.

  • @getkristan thanks for the tip. I will keep that in mind for future production of my project

  • @getkristan or , an alternative would be to view the bassline in G, whereas it is bouncing around the 5th,D, and the chord, instead of a g minor with a b#, make a g with a b natural, and we is apples... it all depends upon how you are goin to view the scale and chord relationship.

however, playing a minor chord over a major bassline/major scale, is actually perfectly acceptable... checkout the beatles.... or oasis... reverse polarity chords can create great feel...

  • @psynapsurfa I have not agree with you more, sometimes with music you do not need to go with the rules, I just do not understand why some people bother so much with going with the rule, I play by ear and find some very interesting things going on with my ears than going by the rules.

  • What Software is that?

  • @1GameBoyZz1 Vanguard. and Ableton Live suite 8

  • @atabeylive Thank you very much

  • @1GameBoyZz1 your welcome.

  • @atabeylive Dang iam trying to Download the Trial but i follow the instructions and this thing is dumb lol.. did you try the trial 1st? or you just brought it?

  • @1GameBoyZz1 I had the trial version and then bought it the suite 8.

  • awesome vid, off to make some of my own now using these techniques! more please :)

  • can u send me some of your tracks? PM me with your email.. and we will talk about some stuff ok?

  • @RensGreveling will do

  • you rock dude, thanks for this!

  • @dapurpman Thanks for the support, DAPurpman

  • Great tutorial.....thank you very much .

  • Nice vid very informative.

  • @pkpaulkersey glad you like it sub and rate if you like my video so it could get out to the masses.

  • nice video...gotta love LIVE by far the best imo

  • Thanks,,

How did u get all these VSTs :S

  • @GanjaSmuggliinG I purchase them but the but there is a free one but I took it off, Vanguard I bought it. I rarely use it but I have to start using it since I use a lot of the ableton live instrument I have put the rest of my VSTI instrument to the side because since I have the suite version of Live it comes with strong software instruments.

  • @hilato so u mean i don't need to buy many plug ins if i have ableton suite

  • @GanjaSmuggliinG not really, if you get the suite playing around with their instrument you could get some unique sounds, from practically any of their instrument even more unique sounds if you use sampler and record sounds like a toilet flushing or just making funny voices.

  • You make a DVD or a blu ray... :)

That's so great ! I looked your video with 1080p for the details. I think it has to take a long moment to find notes, to make adjustments. Wow ! I think i'm gonna rewatch everytime that video.

  • @sebounetman not really I have a quad core i7 27 inch and the resolution is the size that comes out in pixels when I use screen flow.

  • At first I didn't know where the fuck you were going with that bassline, but as the track progressed I was hypnotized by how awseome it was.Fully sick mate, now I'm going to have to go watch all your others, keep them comming.

  • @DanielGrozier Glad you liked it, well when it comes to producing at first your song basic sound, are not blended in it sounds funny, seems like your not going anywhere with the sound. But in reality music is very simple you could make an entire track with 4 to 5 instances. I laugh and see how in the hell producers out there use up to 32 tracks, there is nothing creative to 32 tracks. for me I would be lost and would not know what is going on.

  • Intersting! thanks for sharing.
