But Idina ruined her voice during "Wicked" and vocally, Shoshana ran circles around Idina. If you don't think her voice is shot, let's reference the "Rent" movie - she sounded awful. Shoshana was a better performer and singer than Idina.
And in that same vein, Idina DID NOT deserve her Tony for "Wicked." Tonya Pinkins should have won.
hmm, she doesn't hold the notes long enough. Idina, literally, changed the song to show the exhilaration Elphaba has as she flies there has to be more emphasis on the singers behalf.

For future reference- it's musical theatRE. TheatER refers to a building in which films/plays/musicals/etc. are performed in whereas theatRE is the act of live performance.
i think u've been listenin 2 people like rhianna n people like that 4 2 long which has influenced ur voice making it really nasaly and the all the rnb riffs that u do make u go out of tune sumtimes. but apart from that it was ok.

And she sounded flat 'cause of the echo... other than that she was great. Her diction isn't amazing, but it's probably her accent... she can't help it if it's like that. Most R&B / RAP artists don't even pronounce words correctly (or use even real words).

you were really good and have a very special talent i agree with the comment up top where it says the emotion and diction, you also were sometimes a bit off on pitch but other than that the song was incredible you did a very good job turning this musical song into more of a pop song with a twist good job again
She's not off-key, just a tad bit nasaly. Easily remedied. It sounds flat in a few places because of the ridiculous amount of reverb. A cleaner recording would be better.

Range wise, it fits her. Too much stylizing and back singing in my opinion. But in all great job. Her pitch and belt is right on!

Yeah, she was good, nice range. But really nasally..and it sounded like a habit, fix that and she's set.but awesome stage presence!!

Nice voice with lots of power. Try and work on pronouncing the ends of the words, you tend to drop the last consenents and in places, syllables.
