Anybody notice that, not only is this phone called 'D-Lite' (Daesung), But is called the 'GD'570.

I really want this phone! It looks really good. I would only have it for a personal phone though. I don't think it would be any good for work.

@FantasyVesperia no the dlite does not have an internal camera, where as the korean one does and the external is 3.2 megapixel with auto focus. the hong king version (which is usually referred to the korean version as well, however it is still made by lg korea not china) is the exact same as the korean version just the external camera doesnt have auto focus. same themes and music player n all tht stuff. :)

I always get this one confused with the lollipop :/

but the difference is that this one is the gd570, not the gd580 (lollipop), which has a 3.2 mp camera and a camera on the inside.

Hi, does anyone know how I can disable the backup capabilities of this phone. I know each time you update your contacts or do various changes to your phone, it sends data to and from the phone. This bothers me because it causes a lot of blipping sound to my computer. Even when I open and close the flip cover. Also I don't want my phone's data backed up to T-mobile. Please help. Is there anyway I can disable or uninstall the software for back up?

the backlight is not 'weak'. when  its used in a dark room and i see the keys just fine with the backlight, along with the screen, which is bright outside of direct sunlight. i have my gd570 set to 80% brightness

Very specific and informational. This is certainly very helpful in my decision about whether or not to get this phone. I've read other reviews that also laments on its length and awkwardness, so I'm a bit hesitant at that. Though I certainly do admire its creative, sleek design. I will have to see.

@13IsMyLuckiestNumber The difference is the Lollipop has a inner camera its color has more variety (green red light pink blue gray etc) and its keypad doesn't feel fake along with the keypad is white without the colored arrow keypad thing. The lollipop has a higher quality in it's camera. The lg d-lite feels kinda cheap it does not have a self camera and it has poor camera quality it has a colored arrow keypad and it only has blue and dark pink. in my opinion lollipop is better its korean.

It is actually a 3G Camera. The person is lying. Because I have this rip off phone and it says 3.0 mega pixels. And my up-down-left-right key is gray (: So I kinda like it.

BUT still, I HATE THIS PHONE. IT LAGS TOO MUCH and the REAL lollipop phone is so much better because it has more features. I was so depressed when I got this phone.

i have the lg lollipop and its quite similar but the led lights have a motion censor and there is a camera on the inside. the graphics are also even cuter than the dlite.. and if someone is calling you and you dont wanna pickup and the phone is flat face up, you can just flip the phone over and itll silence it

It's very different, because america, got this phone from Korea.

& I recently found out, there is no alternate languages, besides french, spanish, and english.

Also, the phone is really nice, but the korean phone is 10000x better, so if you're in korea, get the lollipop! :D

I think LG lollipop is much more cooler than D-Lite... It has more cool features, like the 3 Mega Pixel external camera, 1.2 mega pixel internal camera (w/c is why I like it >.>), motion sensor games, can do video call, lets you customize the lighting theme, lets you edit photos, etc. I think Kor. version is much more cuter because of its colors. And its more COOLER! honestly... I'm not ruining d-lite, I think its a good phone... but its not really that similar w/ the original one.

Again another review that shoots itself in the foot.

Ofcourse the device has a hard time rendering a fully formated, flash rich webpage. Some netbooks have issues with such websites, so what do you expect from a mobile device?.

If you stick to websites that are designed for mobiles, the Lite is fantastic.

You cant say something is bad at doing something it wasn't built to do.
