@jboiiGOGO it's because the camera's frame rate isn't as fast as the cycle rate of the pistol. because video is just a bunch of pictures taken rapidly then played next to eachother, it gives the illusion that it's fluid. but if the camera takes a picture (frame) as the gun is fired, and the slide makes a complete cycle before the next frame is taken, it will appear that no motion has occurred.
