  • listen to the lyrics! Very esoteric. He is trying to tell you something!

  • One of the most underrated songs from the most underrated Bowie albums

  • very good mummmmmmm

  • you ppl r as bad as the biebs. Like Bowie for his music... Not his looks.

  • @privateye9111 How about both?

  • @privateye9111 I know people that like him for his looks, his music, his writing and his acting. Please don't bring us down to the level of Biebs. Thanks a lot.

  • He probably has like a foot long dong.

  • This was written about the riots in L.A. - Rodney King. He was in L.A. watching it going up in flames.

  • the 90's were depressing and aging with manson and rap, but this is what i loved about the 90's, Bowie, Jazz, Etc

  • Este temazo pertenece a un discazo!

    Bowie no más!!

  • WOW!! For the first time I listen David Bowie playing the sax, amazing!! He is the best!

  • He is amazing on sax, ive seen videos of him just playing.......... amazing.

  • David Bowie has the sexiest voice ever and never get tired of hearing him talk or sing!!

  • I dont want to cause an uproar but as far as David Bowies work goes i dont much care for this. Just another opinion tallied, whatever... Great musician though!

  • I remember my friends and I when we heard Bowie with Al B. Sure were doing something together.

  • underrated album...

  • @foodmongrel Massively overlooked... : (

  • Completely cool.

  • Wow this has alot of beauitful music of this video , plus you learn for it . Great job!

    David bowie RULES!

check out my video ....if u like thanks u :D

  • ugh he looks hella fine in this video haha ii feel like ripping his clothes off ;D lol jk jk

  • I had this CD! I love this by Mr. Bowie! He is indeed a musical iconic pioneer! He is phenomenal!

  • great song love the ambiance

  • What a song,what a voice.Reminds me of my college days.

  • Love this song. Who is singing with Bowie on this song?

  • Al B Sure!

  • He is Al B. Sure

  • I love the reference to his wife at 2:32 it's awesome that he found someone out in the world who he could be so happy with ^_^

  • Putting on the black tie, cranking

    out the white noise

  • David Bowie is the best singer forever!

I love this song very much!

  • me 2!!!Love him also

  • what a great unknown bowie song !!! Really transcends genre...

  • Sex on legs - that´s what this man is.

    And that`s a fact.

  • The ultimate human being

  • Mr Bowie is looking rather hot in this vid, I must say.

  • This is a very interesting, yet under-rated period of David Bowie's career. This was the early 90's when he was coming off his very successful stint as a pop super star. He started getting back some of his credibility as an artist with "Black Tie/White Noise. The arrangement and production on this song is stunning, and Bowie's voice here is top drawer!

  • i loove david bowie i love the video and everything he makes!!

hes is to original and sso creative

hes is like a god to me

  • sorry .. :(

  • This is a song about tolerance and you write that, are you kidding or just retarded?

  • Yet, we should also tolerate the retarded.

  • Oh I tolerate the retarded who were born that way, not the people suffering from self-inflicted retardation! People that let prejudice cloud their mind to the point that they can't have a rational thought!

  • My previous comment was just my way to tell you that i think using the word "retarded" in that particular context or using the word "nigger" in general is both wrong...but of course no hard feelings. :) The people who use the word nigger aren't necessarily doing it out of prejudice. Some need to think before they realise well enough that others are offended or hurt by it.

  • That is a very good point and the same one I was trying to make, I will admit that you put it more eloquently than I. :)

  • I must say I disagree. I think Droyd21 came across as a pedantic twat and his comment was surely intended as a petty attempt to discredit your initial comment.

  • It's not about being pedantic, it's about respecting that others may find certain words offensive depending on their background. Why hurt someones feelings if you can avoid it?

  • funnily, I'll never get it, how the word 'nigger' is offensive. In my language it has always ment a person with dark skin and nothing more. Saying a black person would be rather weird. Thank god I'm always really aware of what I say in English! :D

  • In my non english slang we have a variant of the word nigger which (in most cases!) also refers to a black person. However, I do my best not to use it in public, since people who don't speak my slang may take it the wrong way.

  • isnt he just so hot in here?!!!! luv ya bowie!

  • This song and the album were a little difficult to get into for me, but now it's absolutely one of my favorites.

  • I felt the same way at the time. Really a good album though.

  • I've never been able to get into 'Miracle Goodnight' though.

  • agreed1

  • no way miracle goodnight is a quality tune!

  • It's okay, a little too poppy for me though; I really hate the video for it though.

The single remixes are good though.

  • Very heavy. I love it. Love Bowie.

  • The track was inspired by Bowie's stay in Los Angeles in April 1992, when the city saw race riots in reaction to the Rodney King incident.

  • FYI: the person that bowie sings with in this song is R&B singer Al B. Sure. He was a relatively sucessful singer during the late 80s-Early-to-mid 90s.

Sure performed the "New Jack Swing" style of R&B, that mixed elements of hip-hop,which was also done by bobby Brown, Guy, and ither artists during that time period.

  • I really like this video.

  • Great song!

  • love it love it so deep x

  • pretty cool song.

    not his best, but cool.

    love him in it though.

i love the suit and OMG i love it when he has his saxaphone!!

Oh him and the saxaphone are sooo sexy!!!!

  • love this song david bowie is aewsome

  • I didnt 100% like this CD but songs like "Jump they say" was so powerful. I found Black Tie White Noise to sound more like a filler song for an album. It was sort of plastic sounding. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree but I found it flat. Most my friends hated Bowie in the early 90's. They liked Grunge, Rap, and Seattle Alternative bands. All of which I hated. I was still stuck in the 80's. Groups like Tin Machine was Bowies coolest stuff but all my friends seemed to hate Bowies 90s stuff.

  • how i'd luv to be that saxo...!!! bowieliciously amazing!!!

  • Black Tie White Noise is one of his best albums ever together with 1.Outside,Earthling,Ziggy and trilogy ... and all others ;)This is exactly so avantguard song and yet possible to be singing in radio and stuff. 1:05 melody starts, some already switeched radio off being bored :D One of the best song for participating of that rapper behind songing together woth Bowie. Oh Loooord, oooh yeah, let them hear me....Nice and very intelectual intelligent way to express love among human races!

  • A great album, in fact. My very first salary served me well to buy it!

I also loved "Jump, they say", "Nite flights" and "Don't let me down & down".

  • I think that the best on that is Miracle Goodnight. Also very good video.

And Wedding which was composed for Iman.

  • How could I forget that one?!

In fact, it's the very best song, with an incredible video.

  • it doesn't getting any better then bowie!!!!

  • In generale non mi piace David Bowie, però questa canzone è molto bella!

  • i think honestly bowie is supernatural

hes inspired me to do so many different things, he is amazing, my sole hero in life, i owuld give anything jsut to meet him, bowie forever.

  • When this CD came out, I had no idea this song is about the L.A. Riots. I lived there when the riots occured, and it was heartbreaking. This has become 1 of my favorite bowie CD's, it's still so cool.

  • David Bowie & Al B. Sure, a killer combo. I love this song. Thanks for posting.

  • love this classic x
