Matilda Mother is one of my favorites off "Pipers". It has always had a haunting sound to me. The image of clowns and balloons popping at each drum beat is genius. Excellent cover. Would love to hear a version of "Scarecrow". Keep it up!

Good. But you should have titled it as "Pink Floyd cover" since the song appears on Pipers at the Gates of Dawn and not a solo Barrett album. Or at least "Pink Floyd Syd Barrett cover." Whatever. Nicely done.

The idea comes from the story in the lyric and a king always has a clown, who has a duty to be happy even when not. This video is about this child growing up and never knowing the end of the story he struggles to tell it. Just my interpretation of the story behind the lyric. Not necessarily the true meaning, but who truly knows. Thanks for your interest - Tomoko (director) x

A teenage goth band? A teenager? That's compliment enough. Thanks. I've probably loved Syd as long as you(maybe 25 yrs or so). I expect purists to not like it, but i'm happy to have done it a different way. If you look at the elements they're pretty much the same. I can't compete with the genius of Syd. He was a one off. I've just added a bit of Clinker to a song I love, in tribute to syd who i've loved all my life.  I'm sorry you feel i've ruined the song, but its ok. :)
