That's why he never got much respect there...not to mention his game is a flop in the U.S. Maybe he's grown up a bit since then...but in Detroit he was well known as a drinker and a partier. Amazing that Carmelo, D-Wade, and Bosh all went after him in the draft...what was Detroit smoking?! They could have had any one of those three and won a championship within 2 years. Detroit was already solid then too!! Unbelievable!

THREE seasons! Your Carmelo argument runs pretty lame when you notice his CAREER AVG is close to 25 pts a game. Darko? Career Avg. 5 pts a game. Not only was Darko's ROOKIE year a BUST....his WHOLE NBA career has been a BUST. And yes, true professionals who love the game play 100% every time.
