@Vamp61616 The fact that you thought it was the lead singer of Alter Bridge, but that it's actually the lead singer of Pearl Jam is a testament to just how generic those angsty rock bands are. The disappointing part is that Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) is an amazingly talented singer, but he wastes it on generic, formulaic rock songs because that's what appeals to the teenage market!

This is such a brilliant song. I'll admit to liking the occasional "dark side" song here and there, but that just makes this parody even more fun to listen to. And Tim pulls it off ridiculously well. His "dark side" voice is great ... and he has a nice range, too. And that piano solo is amazing! :)

I'd perform this myself, if I thought I could pull it off. I love this sort of thing. But I could never do it justice.

I love this song!

I know the whole dark side is mostly, I feel, a parody of metal bands's whose male members sing the ocassional dark song, which Tim is wonderfully deconstructing and making fun of, but on top of the humiliation of liking that type of music from time-to-time, I really like Tim's 'Dark Side' voice. It gets the messege across and sounds really nice at the same time.

Love the alternations, also. Great song by a great musician/comedian.
