  • Why does every latin foriegn group always protest their government from here in the usa instead of in their home country.

  • @makeme708 Because those country governments don't believe in the human rights, sadly those governments are supported by the USA, Panama government goes to indigenous land and killed many people, Colombia's military killed innocent people so tell can get money from the USA.

  • yeah, we are the last indians to survive the terrible american holocaust and we will fight until we get back what is ours! viva el peru!

  • FAKE!! THERE ARE MEXICAN , THESE NIGGER FROM MEXICO ARE PROTESTING , NOT PERUVIAN

  • @travieso0098 and your points is....?

  • @Bperucho so what is your point.

  • the white goverment in peru doesnt give a damn about the so called indians of the land the same way he didnt ask questions 400 years ago when he stole the land to begin with and stole all the wealth and raped the women you think hes going to ask if he can take more land ?this is a proud man your dealing with The Most High is going to have to humble him but first the so called peruvians must repent from their idolatry wether catholic or inca gods read deuteronomy 30th chapter

  • If you want to know more about this check out the following article on the internet google it- Article is called:

Peru: Blood Flows In The Amazon

    By James Petras

  • what a joke, Pizango a killer??? SO was Sitting Bull and Geronimo???

A dog that you beat with a stick will bite you, it defends itself, so do the indigenous people. Look around here at the footage on Youtube and you will see how victimised the poor armoured police were with teargas MAK rifles...ignorant fool you are, mainupuolated by Peruvian goevernment backed media.

  • sad that cops attacked a peaceful protest against slavers working for their evil masters...

    leave the Amazonas alone..pigs

  • Power to the Indians. down with the big ass companys that keeps fucking up the world!

  • you don't have a clue what those laws where about, do you?

those laws were intended to protected the indian lands(about 12 million ha) and to 'formalize' the rest,

the decrees had an area of influence of about 2/3 of the territory and less than 1% of the population was paralyzing the country...

pseudo nationalists (aka communists )started these protests, they were just trying to pollitically take advantage on the lamentable situation (poor education, etc) of indigenous people

  • a good point was raised. one must be aware that some of the protesters are not what they appeare to be. some may be cops or local native "Scouts" sent to orchestrate things negatively. its in Limas interest if the natives appeare to be unusually aggressive. rock throwing, breaking stuff, etc.

  • es SOLO IGNORANCIA D E ESTOS HERMANOS NATIVOS, LO PEOR ES QUE NO SABEN NI PORQUE E STAN PROTESTANDO,SON COMO ANIMALITOS Y SI PERU ESTA CRECIENDO,LA CONTAMINACION E S CASI NADA COMPARANDO CON LOS GRANDES PAISES DESARROLLADOS, TAMPOCO HAY QUE OLVIDAR Y JUSTIFICXAR LO QUE HICIERON ESTA GENTE CON LOS POLICIAS LOS DEGOLLARON SENORES,

  • ke puta hablas facccccccccccckkkkk of

  • ps: i have no mercy any gold miner or oil guy who messes with these folks. anyone working in these companies should think twice before going into that region! but its youre choice. making a last will and testament might be wise!

  • oh yes indeed!! protest!! you can prevent a repeat of what happened in the Black Hill's in the 1860's and 1870's!! ya cant help Crazy Horse, but you can help his Amazonian cousins!!

  • American friends, protest in northern jungle's Perú is more than indigenous fight. It's for respect of land rights of all peruvian inhabitants of amazon jungle: native peruvians and non native peruvians(poor mestizos). Anyway, thanks for your solidarity

  • God, who would have known they would turn into cop killers. For who do not know, the cops killed were something we call"sub-officers", who are usually indigenous poor people as well. THe indians native of Bagua asked the cops to meet in peace and talk...in accordance, cops were sent unarmed...little they knew they were going to their last mission...they were held hostages, hands tied, then shot, then cut (probably to get rid of bodies). The "director" Pizango after they were killed fled Peru.

  • The military came with helicopters and 600 mashien guns at 2 am... when protesters were still sleeping... surounded them and at 5am they started shooting tear gas and live bullets.

Garcia had never an intention to "talk" ... in fact he postponed promised meetings for dialogue several times

you should educate yourself about the fact.

not copy and past the propaganda of the government of peru.

realy investigate and Im sure you will start to find many facts will not add up in garcias version.

  • That is not how it happened they had reporters that caught some of the action on video. I am not saying the natives from Bagua do not have rights...but i believe they were counseled by some criminals. I am peruvian and I know we are not savages...but reality is the cops were unarmed...otherwise they would have taken over the place...dont u think?

  • Thanks for posting this Maria Heredia. Pizango is a killer. How about the many Peruvian Cops brutally killed by the indigenous people? and by brutally I mean, spears on their hearts, they cut their bodies and walk their parts around the town. Very sad.

  • Alan Garcia is a racist bastard and a horrible president. Just look at his previous presidency he was on exiled for awhile. The Government shot down indigenous people from the air, what would you do? Yes innocent cops were killed but more indinegenous natives were killed.

  • so official figures (from NGOs and the 'Defensoria del pueblo' ) state 24 policemen killed (9 of which were tortured and cut slitted) and 10 indians killed...

pizango should captured and put in jail!

  • @mariaheredia1150 If the police were unarmed explain the casualties caused by gunfire.

  • @MrGlanceBack if "the indigenous people" (because lets be clear there were communist people infiltrated) were so innocent, why is that THE COPS (who are also innocent victims) were found decapitated?? Please get ur facts straight.

  • this is disgusting...the world needs to unite in protest over this gross breach of human rights...fascist pigs..

  • tHAT IS REALLY SAD IN BAGUA PERU,

The president Garcia said that "indigenous not are first class citizen" so they doesnt have any rigth to go for protest.. is bad ...

And the goverment use de mass media to show the natives like murders ..

  • It's important to mention that liders from comunists parties are behind this, a lider from SUTEP was detained there with subversive material9with typical slogans from this leftists) that don NOT respect democracy..make no mistake they wanna take government by force(look in the inetrnet who is Ollanta Humala) and tell me if is not true. The government was negiciating for 52 days, the 6 post was taken and 9 policeman weere taken, and then decapitaded...

  • I am sorry to see that you are deeply misinformed about the TRUTH ..The government never negotiated with the Native peoples. of Bagua ...they instead went into Bagua after 52 days without any negotiation and agressively tear gassed and opened fire on civilian men, women and children. The only criminals here is the Alan Garcia administration!!! Solidarity with the people of the Amazon!

  • use of communist threat scapegoat have always been a terror tool to dismiss people´s protest and not to change social injustices around the world

  • * As injured and dead were being transported toward the town of Bagua Chica, they have been detained at a police control post at Milagros. Only injured police have been allowed to pass. Injured indigenous have been detained at the police station, an undetermined number dying there for lack of medical attention.

    * An ambulance driver was also attacked and injured.

    * Protesters have retreated to the Cruce de Bagua, between where they were blocking the road and the town of Bagua.

  • * Yesterday the local chief of police confirmed that he had orders from above to open the roads in the next 24 hours. The indigenous protesters had agreed not to allow anyone passed.

  • Peru updates from today in the morning!!!

    * Around 2am, the police began amassing near protesters, who were blocking the road in a locale called Curva de Diablo. Protesters did not move.

    * Around 5:30 6:00 helicopters dropped teargas from above. On the ground, police started to attack, firing gun shots from outset.

    * As protesters were feeling, the police were shooting at and killing indigenous people.

  • Comment removed

  • WOW !! The intellectual and sophisticate people of Hollywood support the indigenous protest in the Peruvian jungle. Nothing like a glass of Chateau Lafitte in the right hand and the Maos red book on the left to look cool, chick and revolutionary all at the same time

  • You don't have to be smart to know that Nature and water is the main resource in this world to survive , it's life and water is the blood of our earth, GOLD DOESN"T BUY LIFE. Peruvian tribes and Guatemalan tribes and the rest of the world and our tribes we have color, culture, art, music, nature is our lenguage. STOP THE ABUSE. DON'T HURT WHAT IS BEAUTIFUL FOR OUR NEXT GENERATIONS TO REMEMBER. WE ALL LOVE LIFE. PERU WE ARE WATCHING HERE IN AMERICA! YOU ARE NOT IN THIS ALONE.

  • At first, thanks for your solidarity. But you´re wrong when you write "Peruvian tribes". Peru´s natives live in communities recognized by Peruvian State since 1974: Ley de Comunidades Nativas (the Law of Native Communities), So they are not tribesmen. Native is a term used by peruvians, because "indian" or "indigenous" are wrong words ( Indian, someone born in India) that was disseminated by ignorant Spanish invaders in 16th century) to call America´s aborigenes.

  • I think it's wrong how government goes and take people land for there own selfish ways and destroy the land and environment with trash and oil.

  • get your facts straight.

  • what do u mean by that

  • Viva El Peruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • want to share my solidarity with

    Indigenous Resistance
