THATS 57pounds (26kg) muscle gain (was told this much muscle gain wasn't possible in 1 year) currently I'm in my stripping phase. Good Training, Good Muscle Diet, Rest & the right exercise. U will be shredded & bulked in no time.

Believe me they are very good upper body developer and to build and increase stamina too. But hey, try them isometrically. Do a few where you go down midway and hold for at least 7 seconds. Then go down and then back up. Repeat a few more times. I guarantee! ;)

don't waste your time nor your money on easy gains and quick routes. Work out and exercise and get adequate rest and recharging...both mentally and physically too. and oh about the push ups. Believe me they are very good upper body developer and to build and increase stamina too. But hey, try them isometrically. Do a few where you go down midway and hold for at least 7 seconds. Then go down and then back up. Repeat a few more times. I guarantee! ;)

Nothing is wrong with push-ups if you're not after building muscle size. I don't know who gave you the 2 thumbs down but just ignore it. I think everyone can use pushups as an addition to a muscle building workout so when you get good at them then start doing benches and I guarantee you will be ahead of the ballgame.
