I wish people were as open minded here in the UK! Unfortunately, disability discrimination continues here & not just for Downs Syndrome. The problem is it's hard to prove. For example, if it's to do with a job offer, all the employer has to do, is give a different reason for not offering the job, even if it's not true, it still makes it impossible to prove so they get away with it! I'm doing all I can to try to change it. but we need to work together.
ppl are always gonna judge we were put on this earth and our children with DS to teach the world about ds and yes its all around the world discrimination and its our jobs as Parents of our gorgeous kids to open their minds and hearts to our beautiful children xx
Society is becoming more accepting??? Dude what bubble do you live in??? THis is an evil society becoming more and more evil!!! We abort children for convenience and any slight blemish. It's a miracle any child with Downs makes it through this satanic selection process. They are ALL precious in Jesus' site and we are blessed for all these precious Jewels that make up His crown.
it is so sad that people are so so heartless and make fun of this like on the internet or walking down the street i hope the best to all poeple with Down Syndrome all round the world and show people that you are just the same as them
Downs babies are just adorible! I love those big round eyes. What is great now is that I think the world is starting to realize that people who are different can still do well if the rest of us are understanding enough to let them reach their full potential without keeping them down. Who knows what any of us will amount to if we have the thance to try!
how can 12 people not like this video? i wish people caan be educated, i work with people with down syndrom, and more serious mental challenegs of all ages, i have a very open view on everyone now, the general public should watch these programs more
I love them. I would be perfectly happy to have a child with down syndrome. I just don't know why people think it would be so bad. I mean my sister was a straight A student her whole life, good at everything, lots of friends, but she has grown up and broken my parents hearts by her actions towards them - so I think having a 'normal' child can be considered very overated at times.
My son used signs and knew 100 plus words by age two. Then autism came and stole his speech!!! He is now 34, non-verbal, but lives a fabulous life. This video is warm and makes me smile
@indirulz1234 : Down syndrome is a chromosomal condition characterized by the presence of an extra copy of genetic material on the 21st chromosome, either in whole (trisomy 21) or part (such as due to translocations). The effects and extent of the extra copy vary greatly among people, depending on genetic history, and pure chance.
They are just such sweeties and seem like they are just like us....normal happy people striving for more in life. I wish ALL the best to all of these people! God bless you all! <3
my best friends sister has down syndrome, she works at a grocery store where i work, i saw 2 kids picking on her, and i kicked them out, and my manager said they aren't allowed to come in the store. kids like this change lives man, they are so sweet :)
I like this because it shows people with down syndrome are just the same as us. I had the great opportunity of working with a girl in my dance class who had it :) and a girl in my choir class at school has it as well
i am hard of hearing and have ld but i try so hard to ffit and hang with normal people and somtimes it not work i join special olympics and been do year now and have people with ds on my team and they accpted me right away .
i have a sister with down syndrome.... this shows that they aren't how most people see them as incapable of doing anything... my sister is 14 has ds can drive a car and competes in the special Olympics
I really want to meet and befriend someone with Down Syndrome now after watching this. Two years ago at my school, we had this girl named Annie with DS. She ran a mile race!
who is the man at the end? so inspirational! once you see this movie it really makes you sad about how you complain about the things you dont have! these kids are so optimistic and loving, ver inspirational loved the moive.

I thank you for this video!! As the parent of a child with Downs-and autistic catatonia, I was not as lucky to have any help, as he was born 33 years ago. The love and acceptance and films like these, give hope in raising the children with DS, to their full potential. THANK YOU! Love and blessings to you and your family
