@StormRisingOriginal a lot of high end cg companies like pixar and ilm will use a 3d scan of a sculpture created by hand. Nothing really gives most directors a feel for any creature or thing unless it is in front of them in real 3d. But since the invention of 3d printers, sculpturs are going to become a thing of the past at some point
OMFG this is so great I WISH I HAVE SKILS LIKE YOU This is so realistick its like some SMAL FOREST TROL.Did you finised school for this or its just your hobi!!!!!!!!!!!
hi, i hope someone could help me, im not from USA so i get really confused when people talk about clay, i see some people call super sculpey clay, some others to plasthiline, and i see they call clay to a kinda red brown material, what is it? what the diference between clay and plastiline? i hope i can get some help, thank you
Clay becomes hard only after baking. Super sculpey - polymer clay. Plasthiline on the other side never harden to the end. Red brown material most likely natural clay(mineral). For polymer clay color does not matter.
Great sculpture man. I'm attempting to try my hand at clay sculpting and hope to be this good someday. Excellent details and anatomy. Wonder if you went by a picture or just from your head. I've seen a couple sculpturers go freestyle & do a great job. Either way....this is badass.
Hey man got any tips? I want to get into making clay sculptures and I am just a student.. I want to do a resident evil pistol. Also does the clay become hard after or do you put it in your oven :/
wut kind of clay do you use??? if its just regular clay, try using super sculpey firm or regular super sculpey. its a nice polymer clay thats easy to use and detail.
So was it painted right on the clay? Was a mold and casting made of Plastic, foam, silicone, then painted? Also someone mentioned DVD's of this, where can I find them?
wot clay r u using ther coz iv just started but the clay i use is crap, prolly coz it cheap. .........check out my 1st model and and tips wud b great! thanx ben.

@LittleHazey sculptors will never become a thing of the past. If anything digital clay will become real and physical to touch.
