  • @sexkitten19901 Thank you kindly for your wonderful comment. You look like a well educated woman... ;)

  • @pacoinmypocet :) any time!

  • mabey the mod padge didnt do so great is cos there is a type JUST for PAPER

  • @StarKidTaylah That is possible. However, the point is, PPA works with ALL SORTS of materials- not just ONE. Therefor saving money as I work with more than just paper. :)

  • I thought I'd share this with you, just for more information for you. I found directions on the elmer's glue website for using it to decoupage. I'm planning to do a craft with my children using decoupage, for something like this I'd much prefer the cheaper medium. ;) Elmer's Glue recommends diluting the glue 3 parts glue 1 part water. This would make it a little more paintable.

  • @RachS79 Awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing! I love doing crafty stuff with my kids, I hope your project turned out well!

  • Great research.

  • I have no problem with how you pronounce it - I still know what you're talking about. Thank you for your demo. I truly appreciate the time you took to research this for us viewers.

  • @Patrizia817 Thank you, kindly!! :)

  • MOD podge. MOD. not modge. MOD

  • @phelen219 Yes... I understand, if you read through the comments... you'll see you're NOT THE FIRST to point that out... ;)

  • helpful video BUT i will tell you it's MOD podge, not modge podge..........

  • @steelhorse6969 Yes... I understand, if you read through the comments... you'll see you're NOT THE FIRST to point that out... ;)

  • Your video was very helpful. I am just getting started in decoupage.

  • @Sydneysdad Thank you! :)

  • Why do you keep saying Modge Podge?! Thanks fort the vid :)

  • @sande411 lol- there's NOTHING you say "different" than anyone else? ;)

  • Thank you for the information. Much appreciated. You saved us all a lot of time. I am going to order ppa today. You should be getting a commision.

    Blessings to you.

  • @RondaJane Nah, I was receiving commission, you may not believe what I was saying! ha. I hope you're enjoying PPA, and that it worked well for your project!

  • @Ravenzpeak UGH!! I KNOW!! Isn't it terrible the whole Modge Podge thing? I tried so terribly hard to say it correctly... it just... I failed. Miserably! lol!! Thanks for watching, hope it helped!!

  • nice video!!! Very helpful, how can i avoid the stickiness of mod pogde? i put on top a purse is still sticky i dont like it some advise please!!! thanks

  • @shelovescrapbooking2 You'll have to use Mod Podge's finish coat which you should be able to find at your local craft store. If not, it's certainly available online. :)

  • Thank you! This helped alot!

  • Thank you!

  • VERY HELPFUL!!! Thanks so much for making my decision so much easier!

  • @ABitMadInTheHead But the question is... what did you decide!? :)

  • This is a very helpful, well-explained video. Thanks!

  • I just bought some Mod Podge in the Matte finish..Me and my granchidren are going to be useing some Mod Podge to put on little birdhouses.Didn't realize that it's not water proof. So I have to get some called Hard Coat. I seen on another video that there is a Mod Podge that is made just for paper. Wish I had known all of this before I bought it.

  • Superb "vid".

  • Absolutely great review! I like mod podge, but I also get that sticky finish and I hate it, I thoght it was my fault because of the way I applied it. Great information, thanks.

  • is ppa waterproof? i need waterproof glue... :P

  • @PiNkFrOsTiNg55 PPA is water resistant. Sue, the designer of PPA made a collage using paper napkins, studio cloth and PPA. She has had it hanging outside of the office for about a year now, and it has no appreciable fading or wear. Hope that helps!

  • Why have you chosen to use regular mod podge vs. Paper Mod Podge (which is better for archival papercrafting)?

  • @ayawolf I don't really care for Mod Podge whether it's paper, wood etc. I find it to be very sticky and something I have to work with quickly. I was using these jars for comparison more or less. And... I could be wrong, but I think the 'jug' in the photo may be for paper crafting? Though, I'm not sure.

  • I actually loved all the details... I'd rather watch a 9 minute video and see everything I need to know than spend over $30 and have to then try it all out myself! Thanks for making this video~*~

  • Thanks......I like a lot of detail..it helps me....looked to do a WHOLE border in my children's room from old bible story books...this really helps me choose.. :)

  • So glad the video helped! Please feel free to email me if you have any other questions! I'd love to see the finished product!

  • wow lol yea if it last a long time that would be worth it lol

  • @brewtalmike You're absolutely right! Thanks for your input, have a great day!
