I agree completely. River Tam was such a complex character, and there was so much potential for her to fail, but she turned out to be one of the best characters I've ever seen. I think its for that reason I keep continuing to watch Firefly / Serenity.

I love how much depth her character has for only 14 episodes and a movie.
