I would take the M60, due to being smaller, light, and much reliable, plus, im not going to be shooting 3725m with a Support Weapon, I would being doing supressive fire, so I need long bursts, light gun.

@LieutenantScout Im no expert, so I wikipedia'ed it and the 240 apparently weighs 2 lbs more. 2 pounds isnt much difference in the machine gun world, especially 7.62. The m60 is longer, Ive heard a lot of crew chiefs talk about how hard it was pulling one back inside the window of a UH-60 compared to the 240. No one shoots 3725m with a 7.62 weapon, and the m240 is designed for what you "need". Btw Im going to the range to re-qualify on it tomorrow so say Im just some CallOfDuty kid.

@marluxia0080 dude, sorry, but have you every had a 240 in your possesion? I have, its the heviest, biggest, baddest machine gun out there( may not be the heaviest biggest or baddest).Its no toy, I'm 5'9" and about 180, I man handle that bad boy! Its so accurate that i can fire 1 round at a time and hit at 800 yards, iron sights. so that proves your first round should be a kill. Lets see the dino 60 do that.

@idealyoulose first the m 240 bravo is older than the m60 cuz it came out in the early 60's cuz its basicly a u.s. version of the FN MAG 58 so im thinking it the dinosour second the m60 is lighter than the 240 by 5 pounds third the new m60 e4 can fire 850 rounds with out stoping and without overheating lets see the 240 do that and finaly ur a fucking liar if u say u can hit at 800 yards because no one shots at 800 yard not the army not the marines and with iron sights hell no

@marluxia0080 quick tip 300 us marine solders in ww1 took out a german batallion at 1000 yards with only stock springfeild 1903s and also the m240 is newer than the m60 by like 20 years and its replacing the us military with in the next couple of years idk where your facts are coming from

@marluxia0080 they never replaced each other because they were both used in the same period of military the m240 is replacing the m60 and the m249 will work alongside the m240 due to the face of its mobility
