yes, it's a bit dumb. However, it's more for moving it around your room. This is great for clean desk setups as well where most of your hardware is not on your working area, especially something like a Mac Mini mounted behind a huge screen Monitor or something. Drop it in the charger when you aren't using it and when you do want it, it's wireless.

It has lowish quality because of bandwidth, it's probably close to maxxing out BT bandwidth. HD would be too much.

Looking at the picture quality it's the Creative Vado HD. Can't make it up for the split second the cam itself is on screen but since he tested several pocket HD camcorder a while ago he went crazy over the Vado HD :) so my guess he's using that for all his HD videos. If not, he lied to us loving it that much :)
