just a pointer, your right foot is a lot heavier so just practice some left foot kick, and left foot only so it gets stronger, then its not as noticeable. and try playing with a click track so you can keep in time a lot easier. well done brother :D

yeah dude good job, i've only been playing for a couple months but one thing i can tell you that will help a LOT is that sit up higher, you don't want your legs to be 90 degrees or lower, you can get better speed with your feet that way, you got talent though kid good job :)

I've played for 10 years and toured UK and Europe numerous times and only just got my 2nd kit which is an SJC via an endorsement. I've always been driven by getting better and being able to get better stuff in time...you seem to have got the latter straight up!!!
ur not as bad as most of the comments say, theyre just being asses. but at some points you are a little shaky, but you look young, so its understandable. but i would just say u dont have to jump straight into covers of songs if ur starting out on double bass, but deff pick up ur metronome and work on that for a few hours. i cant tell you how many times people preach that, but its so true

Your overheads should be more overhead, and your bass drum either needs tuning or better mic placement/eq/comp. It sounds like paper tuned down. It needs click too.

And ya dont worry about people who are obv jellous of your playing shit man i play on a D2 Stock with new heads sounds awesome and with the right audio supply's you can make a 200$ kit sound like a 1000$ kit keep it up. Thumbs up for effort kid and buying from SA but your parents buying you this kit, those mics and building that room have done you no favours!!! I've played for 10 years and toured UK and Europe numerous times and only just got my 2nd kit which is an SJC via an endorsement. I've always been driven by getting better and being able to get better stuff in time...you seem to have got the latter straight up!!!

ur not as bad as most of the comments say, theyre just being asses. but at some points you are a little shaky, but you look young, so its understandable. but i would just say u dont have to jump straight into covers of songs if ur starting out on double bass, but deff pick up ur metronome and work on that for a few hours. i cant tell you how many times people preach that, but its so true

Your overheads should be more overhead, and your bass drum either needs tuning or better mic placement/eq/comp. It sounds like paper tuned down. It needs click too.
