You sorta have an English accent when you said "stand" but a mild one. I've lived in New Zealand for 6 years and I've totally lost my Hong Kong accent. Even now,I still speak English with a New Zealand accent after coming back to Hong Kong last year and I speak Cantonese with my family with a typical HK accent and English with a kiwi accent lol. I had no Chinese friends there so that helped me to pick up the kiwi accent within a few years.
err insdead of doing ur pronouncing, rather do some more grammar ... Accent doesnt really matter as long as u kno wat ur sayin, westerns can understand it
totally agree with wtsui!! me myself study in england and people sometimes dont get what i say if you know what i mean, accent is unique thats for certain but i think in different situation people should make a chance, for example the Japanese English
dude.. he's got heavy UK accent.. notice that when he was saying the word "car" in the first eposide, he doesn't even pronunce the "r" at the end. The other dialect that doesn't do the "r" is the new york dialect. There are more areas than that.. I am just listing out a few examples.
mariekkl and CutieJanice123 need to shut it because I don't see how your derogatory comments make you guys look any better. Just because you're in US doesn't automatically make your english perfect - keep in mind that there are other English speaking countries around the world.
This guy is contributing something here and most of us found it useful. What have you been contributing? If you think your English is so much better then just quit watching, or better still, make your own video and show everybody how good you really are. Judging from your rather poor written English, I wouldn't hold my breath though.
我土生土長香港人- -但我反而冇乜發音上既困難
ORAL TEST仲比老師話過D發音好native添
我覺得有時講英文做作D..音發得完整D就可以擺脫廣東話口音既問題==

又或者可以咁理解,人我下唇可以拉長.如果讀a音時,將下唇向上拉長少少,拉到去e音咁上下位,就係ae音.
lognameintube 3 years ago
補充一下,由於ae 條利比e 音但,所以條利要行的快d,用多少少少少力.
lognameintube 3 years ago
你個英國朋友的意思係, 口型同e音一樣, 但係條利要比e低d平d, 條利要好似a音一樣.
如果聽力好的人就會一學就學識, 唔洗諗咁多.

唔同意mosthapy講法,如果你去英國,佢地一定唔知你講乜而discriminate你,所以清楚少少唔會到時'魚'到貼地!fool!
