At night 30 yrs ago, I shot a 100 pounder with a sabot slug, and I just barely nicked it. With the stuff jetting out at an angle, it must have been spinning at 2000 rpm. It sat on a big steel plate, and the sound was like a big-block with no exhaust manifold at full tilt! Unforgettable!!! We shot many many tanks! Try transferring propane to another tank with no safety valve, and parking that on a hot fire!!
