forza gameplay graphics destroy GT5 People at E3 say the new physics engine and the new graphics are the best that have ever graced a console. IGN and 1up said forzas photorealism and handling and other physics are the best best ever on any console.

I have both systems 360 and PS3, i own Forza 3, and GT5, and both are amazing games, quit fighting over which one is better, it all comes down to preference. And i prefer GT5, just my opinion, im no fan boy, i love my 360 as much as i love my PS3 period.
I race using the street view so that i can "feel" the car drift and use that to my advantage in turning. It also helps to know WHEN to apply the brakes, which this one seems to like to slide into the turns and apply the brake as an afterthought. Weird. But I had to learn too. :)

I can see how the car drifts and paddle over better when, on screen, I see how sideways the car is getting from the view of the car and not overhead which is an unnatural view. Like I said, to each their own... It also helps to learn to drift in real life I suppose too. ;)

Guys relax, Try Race Driver Grid (Reboot of the Toca franchise by Codemasters) to experience the closest a game has ever got to the actual driving experience....
@kleisthenisgr I wouldn't agree. GRiD is very arcade, in fact technically speaking, it's a letdown compared to the previous Race Driver/ToCA installments.
If you want to talk about graphics and crash physics however, the game is superior than Forza 3 in that aspect.
@Neji191 You can't compare an arcade to a simulator. GT5 does look better than Forza and we're talking about 60FPS against 30. So, should any feature be sacrificed to make the cars and the environments look good, then so be it (also because the PS3 has limitations compared to the 360 in RAM and GPU). Also, if there's something GT won't be ever defeated at, that will be the visual aspect.
As for Hot Pursuit, that's an arcade racer that's got hype only because it holds the name of the PS1 namesake
@Neji191 And believe me, it tasted like a tribute instead of a whole new game with its own personality. Criterion did a wonderful job, but if EA has to bring back the old PS1 days and modify them to look as HP looked, then they're going the wrong way.
let me just say that i had gt5 for 3 days before i took it back first the game is in slow moo with the normal cars the carrer mode is shit every race needs a different car but u cant buy it because u cant race and u have no monoy also the camara is so cheep it never moves u never see the side of the cars car also the graphics are cartoony forza 3 is ten times better
The maps on this game is the only put off from me. They look like country areas where farmers would race tractors not lambos or porches. This game reminds me of NFS hot pursuit for the physics. As for damage I really couldn't give a shit. As for fanboys no win situation they both have ups and downs and that's just tough shit if you can't deal with it
This game has nice graphics but nowhere near the lighting of GT5. I have both games. (yay early gt5 for me). Forza has better environment texturing though, but that aint shit when youre focusing on the car, and cars in forza are much inferior.

I would choose GT5 any day because I like realistic driving simulators over arcade racing games. When I hear a good tune I shout tune, especially when I'm tuning my tuned up car. If you can tune as good as my tuning lets tune together with our knowledge of tuning.

@risseer mate i bought the game on realease and played for a while i even played with logitec steering and pedals the controller is fucked the steering wheel a bit better im a old gt fan loved the other games was very disappointed when gt5 came out and still am was expecting the best after 6 yrs of delay.

The AI is terrible they just race like you don't actually exist.. and most of the cars look like they came from a playstation two. Don't make excuses for that fail of a game!

If you are refering to NFS shift being better than this...wow your credibilty is just totally ruined by saying that, that game is an arcade racer aweful physics. I've played nearly every racing game and Forza 3 is the absolute best to this point. GT5 MUST be much better considering it has taken half a decade to create. forza 4 will be out in a yr :)

When I hear a good tune I shout tune, especially when I'm tuning my tuned up car. If you can tune as good as my tuning lets tune together with our knowledge of tuning.
