Its much better than Ice Barrage.

If you use Miasmics on a PVP world, the other persons range or melee attacks will be slowed by 50% for 42 seconds if using Barrage. In other words, if you come across someone with miasmics, RUN.

Some of the people had ring of recoil and were using vengeance.
