Yelling makes you scary. Undecided people on the fence don't like to be yelled at.

It's enough to make an entire generation of kids become homophobic adults.

Not couples that get divorced a year after they marry. Keep in mind, there is a 41% divorce rate in the United States. All of them being straight couples. Do they love each other? I think not.
