Cool Running- I`m hanging still on this shitty License-Position so that we tought its nearly impsible to get tru.We wont see the Nürnburg-Ring anymore again.-I couldn`t believe the hitting Pace-Car.We´re not too bad into Racing-Games,but Maybe I´m to old?? Are you using a DrivingSteer and Pedals??

I'm using a standard PS2 Dual Shock controller throughout all my Gran Turismo PS1/PS2 vids. IIRC, the Nurburgring is one of the Special licences also - I've yet to get any better than Bronze on those.

i always seem to get the silver on this test...easily.

this is what i do.

stay behind the pace car.

break at every corner.

top speed on the straight.

never got hard for me. just tedious.

but i really hated the S license with this race.

At 5:19 he hit the pace car. I thought that you fail if you hit the pace car.

You can lightly tap the car, but hitting it will result in the failure.

It's pretty much the same as any race - keep an eye on the time checks & get a good idea of the speeds you know you can safely take corners at. The rest should develop as you push the speeds through corners & get use to the track. Remember that very sharp corners are sometimes best taken slightly slower at first so you can build the speed quicker coming out of them.

I've barely started the game myself - little beyond what I've got on YouTube, so I can't give any advice in terms of long-term. :( It has been quite a while since I did this one (I've lost interest in GT4 for the time being) and can't remember which car is awarded. According to one of the GameFAQs walkthroughs: NISSAN SKYLINE GT-R '01 for all IA golds.
