  • ive been looking everywhere for this!

  • I got this single record about 45 years ago. But recently, I've been listening CDs only.

This time, I happened to listen to this tune with clear and stereo sound.

I'm so happy I could die!

    Thank you very much.

  • from 1966 the year of who afraid of the virgenia wolf and the death of buster keaton and walt disney

  • Had none. Get it? Had nun?

  • @charleshathawayinc Yeah, I get it. He had no money. Like he said before hand. -_-

  • this is the REAL ORIGINAL correct?

  • @GameXdominator No, the original was by The Crickets in 1959

  • Bobby Fuller was a dumb ass! Over dosing on petrol fumes to get high! LSD was legal at that time and Pot wasn't that illegal. Bobbo who owns Del Fi said he kills artists and went out of business. Well, he did beg Ritchie Valens to not go on the tour. Bobby Fuller? Who knows. Bobbo produced my first record and I'm still alive. He also launched The Beach Boys, Dick Dale and others who are still alive! Del Fi is now back and ya gotta check out the catalogue!

  • @810joeb You know there's a theory out that Bobby Fuller was murdered.

  • @MatthewCVR Theory??

It could not be more true!!

  • An all time classic!

  • I can listen to this song over and over and never get tired of it : )

  • 10 people gave up fighting the law.

  • Where have the last 46 years gone. Seems like yesterday when this song was on top.

  • I wore this 45 out in the jukebox at Jim & Dot's restuarant at Lake Jackson, Va in 1965/66. Great guitar music. So sad he isn't with us anymore.

  • i know i'll get raged at for this but i prefered the clash's cover

  • @xxxEMINENTxxx et al: Just listen to the damn song.

  • @xxxEMINENTxxx 1 person is a racist

  • @kallemick lmao

  • @kallemick it was a joke bro, srry and i promise u im not racist God bless you my friend :)

  • @xxxEMINENTxxx im sorry for the missunderstanding and dont write things like that in the future if you want to avoid things like this

  • @kallemick honestly i could care less i've been beat for less things, lol.take care.

  • @wuzreeelytho lol

  • musically, it almost reminds me of buddy holly and that is a good thing. great song.

  • @newmexicoguy No wonder - it was written by the Crickets!

  • my cousin tiny fought the law ....Brucie Law ..and kicked him the nuts...law didnt win THAT time

  • 9 people fought the law and landed in jail for disliking this song.

  • Did you hear the sound at 0:32 ... It's like opening a bottle of bear lol ...

  • @crveni94acdc Is that similar to a bottle of beer?

  • @crveni94acdc

    You mean "Beer", right?

Anyway, it's a issue with the recording. It would sometimes happen a while back when hitting a CD burner would affect the recording.

  • -playing gta&running from cops-

He replied "YEAH YOU GOT THAT RITE! he felt sorry for me and cut the ticket down to 65 "SSHHHHHEEEEWWW! L.O.L.!

  • @MrTrapdoor73 Sounds like a guy with a good humor, and that has a nice attitude. (All around nice guy.) :D

  • Is this Bobby Fuller Four or Johnny Rivers ?

  • @EyeseethruU Bobby Fuller. Funny that u mention that because I just got done listening to Johnny Rivers - seventh son. Such a tune

  • Anyone who has heard this for the first time on some TV show is crazy. It is one of the great songs of the 60's, and is on every oldies radio station a pretty decent amount of times.

  • Great song! I've always loved the guitars in this. But I must say, I don't think the suits they're wearing helped their career very much. Thank you for posting this!

  • it would be cool if somebody edited this song to scenes of the show "Cops"

  • @africanbully31 Hey bitch.Yo listen to dis crap huh?Yo a cocksucker eh?

  • heard this song playing Fallout New Vegas with extended radio mod.

  • song for light

  • This is a diamond amongst gems

  • Anyone else played battlefield vietnam? I missed the glory days of play that game. Thats why ive been looking at these songs :)

  • I wore the juke box 45 out at Jim and Dot's restaurant at Lake Jackson, VA as this was my favorite song in 1966. I'm a rebel from the south and this song is one of my favorites although I do not support lawl breakers.

  • very popular when i was in law school. . .

  • R.I.P IN PEACE BOBBY FULLER ONLY IF WE HAD MADE THE CURE BACK THEN petechial hemorrhages

  • @TheBlackbeltjason I heard he died differently

  • @poolpig they say he was murdered but no gun shot,no fingure prints, no traill, no muder i say the deisease killed him, or maybe suicide, plugged the exhuast pipe, and died in carbon monixcide, the police did say his car smelled like poison

  • @TheBlackbeltjason yes a big mystery!

  • @TheBlackbeltjason Officially, it's a suicide- but the conspiracy theorists all say it was murder.

  • Dale from King of the Hill brought me here

  • This is a pretty good cover, but it will never bet the original.

  • @GhoulH8r This is the original, dumbass.

  • @ttmclon No it is not dumbass. The original was made by The Crickets in 1956. So know your facts before you comment, bitch.

  • @GhoulH8r no your the dumbass because it was WRITTEN by Sonny Curtis of The Crickets, not sung by the group. This is the original by The Bobby Fuller Four. Take your own advice about knwoing facts before commenting dipshit.

  • Comment removed

  • @hollowice999 No, you fuck nut it was a single writen by Sonny Curtis,so you are right there, and it was a single by the crikets after he wrote it. The original is even on youtube, so next time know your facts fucker.

  • 8 dislikes? Suck my cock all the 8 Green Day fags who disliked

  • I always heard he drank gasoline and killed himself...just a rumor, I'm sure...GOOGLE TIME I guess

  • @NormanEdwardVail the official story was he accidentaly inhaled gasoline while syphoning gasoline but there is circumstantial evidence of foul play

  • Dead KEnnedy version is the best one. Because the law loses here. :D

  • This song does NOT describe any GTA game. That's all I can say.

  • the amazing thing about this song is that is was written by Sonny Curtis (of the Crickets, though not with Buddy Holly), and he also wrote the theme to the the Mary Tyler Moore show ("Love is All Around You")

  • @kurtzdt51 that's right, the Crickets version (Written by Sonny and sung by Earl Sinks) WAS the original, Fuller's version is a cover.

  • It's a shame that Bobby Fuller (10/22/1942-7/18/1966) died shortly after this single peaked at #9, at the very young age of 23.

  • @1985OldSkool Died? He was murdered.

  • @athull08 July 18, a Monday, in 1966.

  • @athull08 He fought the Mob, and the Mob won, if you believe the stories about his having fooled around with a gangster's gumara

  • @therealjoebloggs he was deffinately killed by the mob, no one kills themselves by drinking gasoline and manages to mutilate themselves at the same time .

  • @Shoknifeman when they say mob they mean mafia an advertising agency told the FBI to stop calling it the mafia bobby was found in the back seat of his car with a hose wrapped around his neck his shirt soaked in gasoline and scuff marks on the back of his heals like he was dragged

  • @spacepatrolman oh i forgot tomention bruises on his face

  • @spacepatrolman Yeah, he was murdered , then it was covered up.... I'm not usually one to believe in coverups, but, you simply can't commit suicide in the way he was killed

  • @spacepatrolman Yeah, he was murdered , then it was covered up... I'm not usually one to believe in coverups, but, you simply can't commit suicide in the way he was killed

  • @spacepatrolman Yeah, he was murdered , then it was covered up... I'm not usually one to believe in cover ups, but, you simply can't commit suicide in the way he was killed

  • @Shoknifeman at first the coroner seemed to go in the direction of foul play then it was accidental asphycsiation in new jersey 2 cops shot 2 boys to death in 2 separate cases they both had the same coroner excuses prevailed and the cops got away with it

  • BATTLEFIELD VIETNAM!

  • Damn it stan you know i love that son oh screw it

  • This song should be on the top of the list of songs you didn't know were covers.

  • Herd this on american dad LOL

  • "We'll put a boot in your ass. It's the American way".

  • This one also goes out for Mr. Gadhafi

  • Like if you heard this on American Dad :D

  • American dad is smart.

  • So many defective piece of shit rips of songs on youtube, it's embarrassing to listen to music here.

  • This would be a fun song to play as a custom song on GTA IV during police chases, especially with a really high wanted level.

  • @ExplodingConsole Oh hell yes.

  • Comment removed

  • @ExplodingConsole I do it on Arma2 on the PC. There are mods that basically make it like GTA, but it has realistic combat physics. Arma 2 doesnt have good physics other than that. But arma3 is coming out and supposed to have a completely new engine.

  • @ExplodingConsole Many places I think this would fit. Lol, like when a kid's been bad at my school. XD

  • this song is much better than greenday's one... that one was too lame and loud and crappy.

  • Sounded better on American Dad

  • @Yasextreme Lmao i looked this song up too becuz of American Dad

  • You betrayed the LAW!!!!!

  • i know it doesnt even sound like the orig. version.

  • ass

  • I love how everybody says the Green Day version is shit like that's a fact or something LMFAO! It's your opinion, and while you may think so high and mighty of yourself, like you're holier than thou, your opinions are worthless to other people. Ever stop to think maybe other people LIKE that version AND this version? Stop thinking your opinion is the only one that matters in the world.. If it was, you'd be supreme ruler of the planet. But you're not, are you? (rant to everyone who says it sucks)

  • @iaresheepy While I like this old version I also like Green Days version. It all come back to the fact that a good, well written song is timeless. I'm in my 50's and I like a lot of Green Days stuff.

  • @MsClyde57 Exactly! Just because someone doesn't like a song, doesn't mean it sucks. That's just their opinion, and the song wasn't written just for their review.

  • Battlefield: Vietnam. Enough said.....

  • thumbs up if you heard this on American Dad :D

  • LOL A lot of you crash on Green Day. Hey, a younger audience had to be introduced to the song somehow. They're awesome, let's see you guys do covers of songs.

  • @loloutloud11 you suck fuck face. the clash are amazing.

    2.The Clash

    3.Green day
