  • OMG this is the first time I have seen you.... You are alot younger than I thought.

  • SWTOR content.. Zzzzz.. boring.

  • Might I add, make this possible in the Horadric Cube (if brought back), or something of the type, to make it possible to open a window to Trade with Merchants from long distances.

  • IF you want to make major changes like this Blizzard, I would consider (for those who are in favor of NOT having to go to Town to SELL things, etc.), to make it to where Players are able to Trade with a variety of Merchants long distance (showing their gestures in a window) no matter where they are in the game, as if it were an Internet Transaction (should they not be present in Town at the time), but to STILL keep the Towns that are around for Player downtime and Trading with Merchants.

  • way to go Blizz you have managed to destroy a classic...i was lookin forward to not HAVING to go to town to sell crap all the time--and if youre one of those who need"cooldown time,"then GO lol but to take out content that a bunch of ppl were lookin forward to is StUpId...i like how you brought back the basic attributes, but yth did you change it in the first place lol?...your back is already to the cliff, and with all these technical changes you just keep steppin backwards--figure it out already

  • Still looking forward to the game being released however I would prefer it to be sooner rather then later :)

  • Jsjs

  • Im tottally gonna spam the AH with worthless whites!!!!!!!!

  • You have some cum stain on your shirt, cheers.

  • BRING BACK NEPHALEM CUBE AND JORDAN

  • @Lyverfive I totally agree!

  • WHY REMOVE THE CUBE AND CAULDRON MAKES A BETTER D3

    eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/3269668225

  • Loved diablo 2 wished diablo 3 was onps3

  • @rh3437

It will be coming on consoles too.

  • maybe theres a cow lvl inside one of these hidden pages/dimensions

  • maybe its far fetched. just an idea. lemme know what u guys think

  • i think getting rid of the nephalem cube and the cauldron of jordan is a very bad idea for many reasons, the top being how are you supposed to get crafting materials anymore besides rarely finding them?

  • To be honest i thought the idea of all classes damage being based on weapon damage was pretty silly. if they want caster classes to look forward to better weapons all they needed was an intellect stat that goes on caster weapons to scale there damage. But based on weapon damage you have both caster and melee classes running around with the same super powerful axes and swords. would look pretty lame at endgame.

  • However, I don't like the stats changes. Esp for the DH.....I don't really need to much dodge...sigh.

  • Honestly...as for Diablo 3, I really like the changes. I think that the fact that you have to go into town regularly will really allow to you take notice of your progress when you go back through the portal back into the depths.

  • I also noticed that on our Dutch websites, the CE has been sold out. and the released that is still 31 of March.

So i guess if Blizzard told the website that the CE was sold out, they also would have said if the released date would have been changed.

  • @Tosaith, I totally agree, nowadays player base of MMO's of any kind are way to hasty..

Everything has to be done quick and fast, going back to town to empty your pockets is a GREAT change! Look to each others Banner, do some crafting, some chatting and relaxing then go back into the dungeon and go Hack and Slash the bloody shit out of Hell's creatures.

A clear picture i see, Ultima Online, play Chess on the tables in a Tavern, relax/chill without the hungry to get tokens / rep / mark/ valor

  • I think the D3 changes are rly good. Going back to town, gives you some brakes of hacking trough enemies. Salvaging things by yourself felt a bit to easy. I'm not agreeing bout te identification system. I don't want my cha to be badass I would prefer to need an item to do that or to go somewhere to let it been identificated.Well I put my trust in Blizzard not to screw up so they should take there time. At the end. Me as a Diablo fan, I will buy it no matter what, and prefer a good but late game.

  • Yes, I liked the content! ^^

  • Diablo 3 seems to be currently shaped by World of Warcraft players. As access to the Diablo 3 forums is only for SC2 / WoW communities, so they are getting heard and people still playing Diablo 2 which has it's own style are not.

  • @DrewSharpHTC Ya...it was kinda silly, i send lots of emails up and down, to get access on the D3 forum.

I saw so many responses of WoW'ers wich i had to attack...but no access...

  • Blizzard told they will remove Mystic. So all enchants from the game are gone?

And i would like to know about what major changes they are planning to do whit skills

and runes? I like skill system atm and i hope they dont ruin it.

  • Why does intellect give more health from health globes, while Witch Doctors and Wizards aren't supposed to be in heavy combat?

  • @MrJesseDeBeste It will encourage them to move around trying to retrieve them.

  • lmao TP's back. cheers.

  • Just give me an alpha Diablo product to buy, ill pay the rest of the remainder when the full product is released. Ive waited a long time now just let me into some action, even if the story changes as well.

  • Swtor: Sounds good. especially ui-costumization.

Darksiders 2: 1 of the games highest on my radar and not getting enough attention imo. Think it will be amazing.

Diablo 3: I just stay away from about all the info and just see how they will make it. Makes more sense too me to start whining after release::

  • @Socratezism i agree, id rather not think about all the changes until i get the finished product.

  • Maybe they will reward the cube and cauldron in nightmare mode

  • Too bad THQ is on my Never-buy-games-from-me list... Darksiders 2 won't be a game I will buy as I did with Darksiders 1.

About the "Diablo 3 delayed to not fight with SWTOR/GW2/TorchLight 2...

Well, there used to be so much hype like 3 months back that if they had released back then we would all have been playing D3 already, but now they are starting to play their cards wrongly, and people do become upset with so many delays and "soon"(TM)

  • blizzard is obv taking alot of things out for xpacs

  • I love tps it s like a pause for online

  • No Nephalem cube/cauldron of Jordan is BS

  • Release it allready, tweak it after i get my hands on it!!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA

  • i just like the fact that blizzard is willing to drop system mechanics they dont believe are fine tuned or necessary.making a good game i think is about taking ideas as far as they can go and then weighing them out. basically id love the game to come out soon but id like it with all the crap rinsed.

  • The first Torchlight was terrible.

  • Nice, definitly buying Darksiders 2

  • I think they should srsly get the game out soon, else they'd lose a lot of players. Simply just cus they are tired of waiting and start playing other games.

  • @AlexanderCratous Agreed depending on which comes out first I am either going to be playing GW2 or D3

  • good work force!

  • Diablo 3 coming out Q4 2014.

  • Okay i understand that blizzard is trying to make a really good game here. but jesus what the fuck have you guys been doing for the past 10 or so years? Take ur fucking thumbs out of each others asses, fix what bugs need fixed, add what the game needs get rid of what it doesn't and get the game out. Cuz this whole anticipation thing isn't cute anymore...

  • cant help but smile at the naysayers of SWTOR! Enjoying the game quite well myself, how about giving people some examples of what it is that sucks so bad? Well same can be said for WoW when it first came out, the first 6 months were filled with bugs, horrible pvp, UI problems and lack of. To base a game and say it sucks because you dont like the pvp when 70-80% of the game is story, flashpoints and ops is a bit childish.

  • I'm still going to play. Oh wait, i'm in the beta and i'm still playing :P

  • Stop, Blizzard STOP! release the bloody game already! I was looking foward to not having to run to town to sell stuff all the time as I felt that was the next evolution in these hack and slash mmo games. If they are planning on changing that well...It is a major change that I dislike and will likely impact my interest in purchasing the game. That being said the constant updates last 2 years has dramatically shortened my interest in the game as it just feels like it is constantly being delayed.

  • I fear Diablo 3 has lost a lot of its depth.

  • @ForceSC2strategy My girlfriend asks if it would be possible for you to wear a clean shirt on your next feed :P

  • @Foensh Gamer shirt comes with game stain lol

  • @Foensh sureeeee, your girlfriend

  • I love having to go back to town it gives the player or party a stress relief period. You cant have 24/7 combat or it will lose its value. Look at Left4Dead, youre not constantly shooting zombies. Its called pacing.

  • @ogat11 Sometimes it's pacing, sometimes it's padding.

  • @ogat11 I agree that some pacing is good to have, but u already had that when you stopped to sell items or salvage them WITH the Cauldron/Cube and even changing skills before they added the "amazing" altars. If you are some1 who likes to check everything and loot eveything like me these changes are a step Backwards...

  • @ogat11 thats the first thing i thought when i heard about it

  • I stopped play SW:TOR after 3 days, it was simply just a horrible game

  • OMG IM ON FORCEFEED YESSSSSS

  • Can't wait my Diablo3 beta key, Force!;) Great work once again.

  • I can't believe you actually kinda promoted SWTOR - a horrible game... adding PvP ranks when PvP is broken... WTF

  • PLEASE TP ME!!!!!

  • TP PLZZZZZZ

    TP PLZZZZZZ

    TP PLZZZZZZ

    TP PLZZZZZZ

    TP PLZZZZZZ

  • Im glad to have TP back. Im disappointed to be losing the cube and cauldron though.

I really liked the staying in action design philosophy. Sad to hear they are straying from that.

They may have developed that design philosophy to deal with removing TPs, but i feel it was the best idea theyve had for D3. No need to stray from it cuz theyre including TPs now.

  • Blizz taking away the cube and the gold transfer is just to gain extra time ingame as with the now old system people would just power through the content. Look at the beta vids for instance. 30 or less minutes to complete 1/3 of act1.

Btw youll see tyrael in act1. and we fight the judgement angel in act 4 before diablo.

The witch from D1 is also a boss.

  • Pffff it's getting ridiculous, see you in 2020 for d3's release...

  • @ivushky

D3 may have been announced in 2008, but this is its 11th year of development ! so yeah 2020 sounds about right.

  • the worst part of diablo 2 was you have to carry lots of scrolls with you now it is diablo 2 with no scrolls with new graphics what can i say i am delighted meh you cant sell/disenchant items on the fly i dont care, i am happy to go back to town, also it doesnt make sense to carry a portable selling device with you it is a slasher game it is not a competitive exchange market simulator.

  • pretty much they are just changing how the systems work, before they were leaning towards a fun fast paced game and now they are moving backwards with more trips to town.

with the skill changing stand the player has to go back to town... if they kept that the systems would contradict themselves.

FYI: D3 is a huge troll, on april 1th they will announce that the game is never coming out and we are all just a bunch of noobs...

  • I didn't really like the D3 changes. I loved the idea of the Nephalem cube and the Cauldron of Jordon, even though I never got a chance to try them out they seemed really cool. Now they are just going to be throwing a lot of loot at you wont pick up anyway. I liked the way they had the stats before this change. I don't like that they seem to be making the game too much like D2.

  • As for me the changes for D3 suck. Definitely they have made them to keep people playing and grinding it way longer.

All was perfect, if they had so much trouble with the Mystic, why don't they just remove her instead of changing all the good stuff to boring shit.

10 years ago I was wondering for D3, beta was exiting, but and now looking at it and comparing for instance with upcoming GW2. It's just out of date game.

SWTOR - nothing to do, battlemaster set and game over.

    Now I'm waiting for GW2.

  • Basically with the changes they made to Diablo III turned itt back into Diablo II... Do you think the reason they make us go back to town is because of the way they are making us switch skills? in town only?

  • GW2 Similar?!

  • Love the drastic changes! Makes it feel more like Diablo again I feel, hearing the word "Town Portal" the first that comes to mind is Diablo! :)

  • Isn't Town Portal the exact same thing as Stone of Recall?

I don't see why people are saying "I'm glad to see TP back."

  • "Sign Up for the World of Warcraft Annual Pass and Get Diablo III Free

by Blizzard Entertainment Oct 21, 2011 11:47 AM PDT" ..this is what makes me facepalm. This and the advertisment for D3 soundtrack, collectors edition D3 and other nonsense on the D3 web. I am a customer and I am not a retard - I would appreciate for bliz to stop punching their products into my face while constantly reworking the game...They do not keep up my interest. So much for the in-video question.

  • NEED TP FOR MY BUNG HOLE

  • Basically they have spent the last three years telling us how we are going to be in constant combat and spent the time to develop all these things that go along with staying in battle now just to have to remove them all because of skill swapping. The fact that they didn't catch any of this internally until now just seems odd. It makes me wonder if the fact that this game is coming to the console doesn't have something to do with these changes.

  • even though it was an old mechanic, the town portal is one of those things that reminds me of the older games that were very popular. Though people may not appreciate this change, I feel that TP are important to get that old Diablo experience. However, I am a little surprised that they are making so many changes, but Blizzard has a lot of pressure in releasing high quality games...so its a service to the gamers to only put out the best which leaves little room to complain.

  • I so liked the new elements of diablo3 in the beta, i dont want that shitty townportal back

  • Very good that TP is back.

  • diablo 3 needs more rpg elements, I'm a huge diablo fan and i am looking forward to D3

  • i think blizzard has fucked up d3 too much to release it. what they need to do is stop listening to

all the winey little bitches and just make the damn game already. its getting to the point where im debating if i even want to play d3. i mean you really dont have any control over your character development other than the items your character has equipted. and items are random.

  • FUCK THE THIS IS DIABLO 2 WITH NEW QUEST FFS I DONT WANT THIS

  • FUCK THE TOWN PORTAL.

  • Seems more Like they want D3 to Look a bit more alike D2! a bit sad :( i was really hopeing to hardcore farming some times and i do not like to have non other opsion then go back to town :( dont miss understand me im an Diablo fan freak! but it seemed that the parden of jorden , and the nefluom Cube shud be more fun to play around with and take them were ever you go :O

  • I'm much more interested in Torchlight 2 than Diablo 3, Torchlight 2 has onlline co-op and with content patches and a dlc class or two it'll keep the game fresh for a long time, plus torchlight is mod friendly. It really seems like a leaner, meaner, hack and slash rpg to me at this point.I'll check out diablo 3 of coarse, but if they release at the same time I've gotta spend my free time on what looks to be more fun...From where I'm standing that looks like Torchlight 2.

  • @TheScheckig You can also try Path of Exile...

  • I was hoping to play this during the summer, but I guess that wouldn't be the case :(

  • i've given up hope on Diablo 3

  • LOLLLLLLLLLLLL :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

They were making an unique d3 game, and now they are back to D2 :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd and what is worst :D they just burnt like 1 year :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD guys, IMO, we need to get a better game , because this d3 shit is not going happen :DDDD or in summary it will just be d2 with better graphics :D i mean wtf, all we need now is the return of stat points :D and we got ourselves a brand new d2 :DD

  • I am annoyed at some of these changes in Diablo 3 but lets have a little faith. Blizzard knows what they're doing and if they feel as if these changes are for the better then I'm fine with that. The only way we can know for sure is to wait for the game to come out and play the finished product.

  • the cauldron and the cube were brilliant ideas and really annoyed that they would do a complete redact on it. how will this affect mats for crafting?? if they are gone, are they moved somewhere else (shop, town, house, etc). Interesting....bit of a downer though...

  • I honestly think it would of been better if BioWare would of waited longer before they pushed out SWTOR, and this "eyecandy" patch which could and should of been placed in' with the original release...

The game is so broken, unbalanced and filled with bugs

  • I only watch Force's news these days and don't really care about D3 anymore (well enough to make this comment) which is sad since I'm a pretty hardcore Diablo fan... when I look back a year or 2 I'm amazed how hyped I was for D3 and now I just don't give a fuck anymore... sad sad sad... Peace

  • It's kinda sad they are pushing back release date even more, but whatever, what can you do. I have so many games to play anyways, so the wait shouldn't be a big problem.

  • Thank god i have swtor

  • I do not like the changes. For now.

  • Atleast Blizzard isn't EA Games, popping out games even if they are unfinished...

  • @CaptainSkeletor Exactly, people seem to forget that way too much.

  • @CaptainSkeletor lol is this implying SW:TOR wasn't finished?

  • @CaptainSkeletor I think you misspelled Activision

  • yea blizzard, just delay the game more, and see if you can delay it SO HARD that til the next generation gaming.

  • it is Blizzard the game cannot be bad, no matter what

  • I don't really have a problem with the changes as it makes D3 more like D2, which I think is a good thing. It's just weird that they haven't decided on this earlier as they really don't need any further long delays. It has given me more interest in the game though. I liked that you could go back to town chill between fights. I want it to release as soon as possible tbh. I think it's enough with the push-backs.

  • I like the character stat change - precision was pretty worthless and everybody was pumping attack only, now it is much better. But removal of cube and cauldron? Those were the best fucking changes in whole Diablo III for fuck sake!!!

  • Ugh after watching the long and arduous development process of d3 I'm starting to appreciate the release date policy that companies like Arena Net currently hold. Arena Net consistantly keeps saying it will be ready when its ready. Plain and simple. No bullshit like "Oh the game is coming out Q1.. Oh... wait nvm we still haven't decided what direction we wanna take with the game..."

  • @xZ3ROordiex Blizzard never set a release date and there policy has always been "when it's done".

  • @xZ3ROordiex Blizzard also says it will be out when it's ready so I don't know what you are talking about. They never said it's coming out Q1, they said we will be TRYING to get it out for Q1-Q2 but we are not sure.

This is normal. Blizzard makes ANY change and people start raging. In the end everyone will buy their awesome games and they will forget the long development time.

  • @xZ3ROordiex Didn't Blizzard originate the "it'll be done when it's done" mentality? I don't recall D3 or any other Blizzard game for that matter having a release date well ahead of time.

  • im just waiting for release

  • @InvalidReasons dont hold ur breath. late summer 2012, here we come

  • i dont mind going back to town, in fact if the npcs have new story ccontent each time i go back then i would like going back.

  • blizzard deleted my comment on their facebook page concerning this news

    truth fuckin hurts doesn't it?

i've wrote that they probably postponed diablo because they want to milk WoW as much as they can now( they've lost 2+million subs to swtor)...that's alot of money lost a month

getting diablo 3 released would cripple WoW even more...

    they are not fuckin stupid

    pure business

    that's all i can say.....

  • @fr1x the only logical reasons for the delay are: 1.) they really are still working on it. 2.) a 2011 release meant competing with battlefield 3, mw3, saints row 3, zelda and skyrim. youre also assuming that d3 will eat up so much of wows subscriber base that blizzard will actually end up losing money, which makes no sense. according to that logic d3 will never be released since it always has the potential to hurt wow.

  • D3 is waaaaayyyy late on...everything. Fukin hell, polished does not mean repainted again and again and again - this game is in fukin development since before 2008 for crying out loud.

  • @femtokun If you are using 2008 as a reference point for it's development beginning, you're greatly mistaken. Try 2001.

  • I would bet that skill points are coming back as well lol. Hilarious. But I actually am very glad of the system changes. Fuck the mystic.

  • I don't think they are completely removing the cauldron and cube, just from the beta. They will still be in the full game, but as you shouldn't have them at that point in the full game, they want to make sure the game still works when those items are not available.

  • I was really looking forward to the cauldron of j and nephlim cube.. imo they were really a great idea that would have made the game much enjoyable removing the need to always track back and forth from the towns back to combat.. but then again they earlier removed the ability to change your skills on the fly so maybe they're thinking players would want to return to the towns more often because of that.. :|

I say reenable skill changes and bring back those two items ><!

  • I just.... just don't understand anymore... Next are they just going to bring back Skill points? just.... just.. I think I'm going to just go sit in the corner.

  • path of exile for the fucking win!

  • yes! D3 is going to be less casual :D

  • well i think this is pure bullshit they can just release the fucking game and if they dont like something patch it. if it goes like this they will never bring the stupid game out since they always want some change ..

  • Thanks for the great videos Force. Keep them coming! You're doing a great job!

  • removing the cube/cauldron is a BAD IDEA I would think. I loved the idea of being able to clear an entire dungeon without needing to go back to town because of full bags. Now you'llhave to decide between going to town and wasting time or losing out on items by leaving them on the ground.

    Dislike

  • Hope Diablo 3 will be realesed in the first quarter of 2012

    Cant wait for it!!

  • blizzard has a team of like 4,200 people. and it is every single one of there JOBS to create this game. if it was your job to make hand soap dispensers and the pump that puts the soap in your hands didn't work would you just pack it up and ship it anyways? i think not. calm down, put your diablo 3 hype on the back burner for a while and be patient , it will come, and pass. like everthing. time is just an illusion, with a purpose.

  • remember this diablo fans.. a diamond looks just like a rock, before it is polished

  • My mind is full of fuck, Blizzard.

  • Seems like diablo 3 is kind of turning away from things that they have done in diablo 1 and 2. And taking away portals what if your friend dies and says TP.

  • thank god they got rid of precision, it was like diablo 3's version of energy

    useless

  • Are you fucking kidding me Blizzard? I could have sworn you were in Beta for this game, doesnt that usually imply you are close to done? Why the hell would you revamp entire core parts of the game in the fucking beta. I preordered this game two fucking years ago and I would like to play it before I fucking die. FUCK!

  • i think it will be ready when its ready and it will be spectacular. i laugh when i read posts like "its been so long i dont even want the game anymore, i might buy it when it comes out..." lol bullshit! youll all be frothing at the mouth a week before release like anyone else. Im not a game developer but i am a consumer of blizzard games and have yet to be disappointed any changes are good changes in my book, it means it wasnt going in the direction they wanted and are fixing it

  • lol "Microsoft Points"..dunno what to say

  • Diablo: Simplifying stats means, easy in ... easy out. But at least it got paid for. With so many good games about, you cannot expect players go indepth on a game.

As for the removal of Cube and Cauldron ... (RM)AH trade!

Lets just hope it won't be a Duke Nuke'm repeat. All those pleasant memories we have were when we weren't pampered with the current state of the art gaming.

  • I don't mind the forcing you to go back to town a little more often.

  • bye bye to d3's q1 release...

  • I won the Blizzard Beta Sweepstakes and got a Beta Key! Only played a bit with the little time I have, I watched the videos of play-throughs and understand most of the UI, but these changes will confuse many players at first, but who knows? Hopefully it will be a better system when they release the game!

  • what the fucking fuck??? sorry if i misunderstood that, but are there only 4 item attributes??? wow blizz..

  • @CascadeZ stat attributes, not item

  • removing the cube and cauldron are a bad idea. And they need to take out the nephilem statue. so dumb. did my character forget that ability unless he goes to the statue pffft.

  • Can you say Starcraft: Ghost!

  • well im 31 i think i have at least 50 years to go.

if i can install diablo3 before i die ill be happy

  • This game is never coming out. great job though force!

  • I'm happy with these changes to D3.

  • New ideas are cool keep what worked in d2 going

  • I actually like that you have to go back to town. Sure it's a bit annoying to do but that's why I like it. Going back and forth from dungeon to town is part of the experience. ;-)

  • wow bro you blinked

  • If any of you played the Beta extensively, you would understand the changes. I for one completely agree with the changes and I'm more excited now then ever.

  • @MrMrTravman can u explain why? u think now is better

  • Meh. It'll release when it releases, and when you play it, then you can judge it. I'm a hardcore Diablo fan, but sometimes psycho-analyzing every game iteration move Blizzard makes is just going to make you angry, or worried, or nervous in the long run. That, and listening to all the negative talk also adds to the stress.

Just relax. Don't follow the game so hard, and life will brighten up, I promise lol. Just find something to do in the meantime, and worry about game mechanics when it releases

  • @ximx123 Lol you're making it sound like people can't live there live due to diablo 3

  • @ximx123 That's exactly the right approach. I'm also like "it'll relase when it releases". I don't follow mmo or diablo forums like crazy, getting excited about every news, no matter how insignificant. In my mind, the longer they make it, the better the game will turn out.

And I got beta (not sure when, logged on my acc few days ago and it was there). I think you call that "Karma".

  • @ximx123 This is exactly what i think about it and i think it's great you really typed it lol

  • @ximx123 And worry about how it's going to takeover the rest of your life. I feel sorry for those that will have exams near the release date. XD

  • you guys have to remember that this is Diablo. so things that make it original must stay that way. if they change it to much, they might as well call it "the devil" or something.

  • i think going back to town to sell stuff is apart of Diablo. and maybe they found a loophole with the old system. i also think that them changing things is a good thing. this means that they truly care about the game, and not just trying to make ppl buy it.

    and @scarpelli619

inventory management was one of the big things that made Diablo II, Diablo II.

  • Wake up at 4 am, make coffee, forcefeed on = happy morning.
