  • Question, I have a 2009 Honda Accord the dome light no longer turns on, I changed the bulb to led it still doesn't turn on, what else could be wrong?

  • @marialgi Try turning the LED bulb around the other way. LED bulbs are polar sensitive so you might need to switch the position. If it still does not work, it probably has to do with your cabling within your car and may need to see a professional to get it fixed.

  • What's the benefit of an led bulb?

  • @2dustin2468 They are brighter and use less energy.

  • Can someone please show me how to exactly change a dome light in a Toyota Corolla.

  • can you do a video on how to change the back roof interior lights? i have a 2007 LE toyota camry and 1 light is out and i need help fixing it =/ (there circle shaped with a click/push on and off)

  • @bmviola310 I wish I could, however my Camry does not have that feature. It usually comes on Camrys with a moonroof on it. Maybe in the future I can borrow my friends car and do a quick video on it. :D

  • @sambozxcvbnmasdfghjk It should be similar. I know the Aurion is just like the Camry. I can't say if there are any differences in the bulbs though. I would Google Sylvania Light Bulb Guide and search your car up to see what bulbs it uses.

  • Any Idea how to do this on a Ford or a Swift ? Having a hard time removing the dome light cover on both these cars. Thanks

  • @GregoryHouseMD1 Sorry buddy. I have no idea how to do it on those vehicles.

  • @rainierakarain

Thanks for the reply. I finally managed to remove the dome cover on both the cars.

OK the swift is exactly like your Toyota, The bulb was similar to the one in your car so I need to get something like that but on the Ford this needed a T10 socket bulb.

time to find LED replacement bulbs.

I hope this is helpful for anyone else wanting to change their dome light.

    thanks

  • what if u have a se how do u change the passengers one? not the middle one

  • Hi can please help... my car is a toyota venza... i dont know how to change the rear DOME LIGHT BULB... is not same with other dome light lens...there is two small cirle like in the airplane? how to change the bulb? i mean remove? thanks...

  • where do you get these LEDs? how do i fint the right size and stuff?

  • flat screw head driver lmao....he meant flat head screwdriver

  • '

i did put a bright LED dome white on the dome,,,

    LED from auto zone store

  • Where did you get those lights from? I'm trying to find some for my 2003 camry

  • Where do you buy your lights?

  • where did u buy that led from?

  • Did you use wled-x5 or wled-x6 for the reading lights and are those cool whtie bulbs?

  • I believe I used the x6's for the reading lights and I bought the cool white color. It's pretty bright given that no other light is on.

  • @rainierakarain

sorry im a little lost. on the description, you said you used 3022 Festoon Bulb. Then how come you said you used wled-x6 on the comments?

  • @ASUSproz

sorry my mistake. 3022 wled-x6 is for the other video.

  • how much of a difference is there in the color /warmth of the light. i wanna go to all led except headlights on my bronco but i dont want to put in leds and find that they create a cold feel.

  • I wouldn't know if it creates a cold feel. It's really up to you if you want to install them or not. Picture the color of a fluorescent light being focused onto a section of a car. Does the mood create a luxury feel or a cold / non-inviting feel? In my honest opinion, I would just buy an LED, try it out, and if you don't like the mood it creates at night, then just replace it back to the regular bulb. The bulb only costs around $5 so its not a total loss on your wallet.

  • By the way, there are warm white LEDs. They create the same color a regular filament bulb emits. That's another option that may suit you. Happy modding!

  • Hey Renn i have a 07 Camry SE and i wanted to know how to replace my reading light bulbs at the back where the passengers use that light for reading

  • Way to go rainman i'm a 45 year old female

and i follow you with your camry moding

I also found a really cool way to remove the bulbs.

i went to the dollar so and purchased one of the silicone pot holder it grips it really easy...

  • thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind for my next project. I'm saving up some money to buy some bulbs for my turn signals both in the front and back.

  • Yo dude, my camry didn't come with fog lights. can you make a vid abt that?

  • I don't have fog lights on my camry either. I can't make a video of that. Sorry. :(

  • yo dude, great vid, one question..do you use ur hands or you had to put on some gloves?i heard you have to wear gloves when ur installing the lights..I have a 06 camry, so should be similar, though I know toyota changed the look after 06 of camry...can you should how to do the licnence plate light and may be the gauge cluster one?

  • You don't need to use gloves when installing the LED lights. You only need gloves when you install head lights (but that isn't of concern in these videos). I do have an installation of the license plate lights. Search it under "More From: rainierakarain". Happy modding.

  • What festoon bulb did u use?

  • This is a 3022 Festoon Bulb. 30mm.
