Hello! Can someone just explain to me how to use this manager? I have installed my official 3.55 firmware.. Do I just install the Kmeaw 3.55. Do I also need some kind of manager like multiman? What does the manager do? Thanks

Just get a 3.55 firmware , and use the latest multiman 1.17 , you can play games all shit night

Cool Stuff. I have now 161 games ( Seriously, I play like 2-3 of them..). There is Fight Night Champ that ask me to upgrade 3.55. I dont want to do it...

i have only tried playing ratchet and clank crack in time backup on my ps3 so far but it freezes after 5-15min of loading it on multiman once it even freezed before i got to open it? but when im playing it with disc it works just fine.. anybody have similar problem? or maybe its just ratchet and clank? maybe other games wouldn't freeze? let me know what you think!

I have a hardrive were I backup my wii games.

Can I use it to load PS3 games as well, or will I have to format it exclusively for the PS3?

@cambaprecoz You'll have to format your harddrive to NTFS and then you'll have to make 2 partitions one for your ps3 and one for your wii and format your ps3 partition to fat32 you can see that on my youtube videos by clicking on my name and format your wii partition to WBFS.

This will make your harddrive work on the 2 consols.

!! warning by formatting you'll lose all your wii games so back them first up before doing any kind of format !!

@deejayfatboi69 its on what custom firmware your on. But with me fifa stree 3 worked perfect on internal HDD and i have the kmeau firmware or something like that :) also tested it in the past with the jailbreak sticks and the ps3key with multiMAN also worked

I just got my PS3 hacked last week. It has 3.55 on it and I tried putting multiman 1.15.0 on it. I can copy games to my hdd, but I can't open them to play them. I copied NFS Hot Pursuit and Rock Band Beatles to test. I have a different game in my disc drive.Nothing seems to make sense and I am pretty new at this stuff. Any ideas?

@edccsound I have the EXACT same problem. I'm starting to think it's the new version of multiman that is causing the problems because I am using the same setup as you. Only difference is that when I upload my games to my internal or external drives, they lock up at 99% no matter how long I wait. I am thinking that I am going to try gaia manager instead...

I am a total newbie when it comes to this... what is a CFW? How can I tell what one I am using? If it makes a difference I am using black box.

@RHEID911 CFW stands for custom firmware its a hacked version of the original firmware (it doesn't come preinstalled) this hacked firmware version give you the abillety to instll applications that other users make and the original firmware of the ps3 only supports applications that are made by people with playstation copyrights meaning cfw allows you to play backups play emulators and other homebrew applications

I have 3.55 and installed the newest version of multiman yesterday on a 40 gig ps3. The first problem is that the games back up to 99%, and when I try and play a backed up game, it takes me back to the xmb and then does nothing. What am I doing wrong? BTW I tried with Gran Tourismo 5 if that makes a difference....

@RHEID911 yeah thats with some games you just wait untill you see a black window telling you press x to finish the instalization or something like that when your installing a game on multiman don't quit the game installer on 99 procent keep it on

@RHEID911 is that with all your games and have you tried the new release of multiman on my site and are you using lv2.pkg before doing this and what firmware are you running on the normal geohot firmware won't do the trick if thats not enaguth that the games your trying to install aren't just supported or there is something wrong with your ps3 when did you buy your ps3 cause i red somewhere the the newer models are patchedor something

@RHEID911 your making TWO mistakes. Delete the old multiman and install multiman 1.16.03 to fix the progress bar freezing. Then you'll have to search the internet for a BDEMU.bin or LvL2 patcher to fix the problem that takes you back to the xmb... just google those file and drop themon the root of your USB!!

Hey i have 3.55 too and i use Multimanager and i used FTP to put my Midnightclub in the HDD of my ps3 but when i use it in my backup manager it goes back to XMB then i click on the disc and it says Midnight club so i click on it but after that like 20 seconds later it goes back to the XMB without even going into the game can you help me please?

THIS IS NORMAL its suppose to do that. Just put any game disc in your playstation 3 (doesn't need to be the same as the one your trying to launch) THAT WILL DO THE TRICK or if you have custom firmware you can also click on /apps_home/ps3_game/ above the install packages thing
