  • @budlightman503 that I a reason I dislike Fords is because they don't sound good straight piped.

  • hey man im a ford guy and i like chevy a lil bit but man that truck sounds good ass hell i got a 97 ford f150 and it has a 4.6l v8 and i want somthing on it loud and that will pop but will sound good

  • its actually because on my 5.3 liter like evryone elses it pops because there is no back pressure an when the pistons move up an down thats what u here poping no back pressure an the axhuast has nothing to restrict the flow an if u have cats no mufflers it baraley pops an with no cats no mufflers it pops like crazy an there goes ur gas cuz the converters stop all the exhaust emmissions coming out an thats what u smell

  • Sounds mean! I like it haha

  • i love that what type of exhoust is that

  • I pressed play and Jizzed! hahaha

  • does anyone listening to this know what causes strait pipes to pop when you left off ????? lets see

  • @CUMMINSPOWER0789 its probably the excess of fuel still going into the cylinders while the motor is reving down. and it also probably has to do with the higher frequency exhaust notes that are no longer being caught by the muffler.

  • @97chevyZ71350 correct but the biggest part of it is when u let off air goes back through the exhaust thus the pop but what causes it to pop is the cold air hitting the hot valves

  • @CUMMINSPOWER0789 its actually because of fuel being burned up in the mid pipe section. usually catalytic converters, or straight pipes cause the excess fuel to have a loud popping sound due to the fuel being eliminated. thats why when you remove your catalytic converters, the popping stops almost completely, and why your exhaust smells like fuel run off. because the unrestrictive flow allows the fuel to just evaporate against the warm pipes and not explode inside the catalytic converter.

  • no back pressure no mufflers to stop it so like on a jake break big rig a regular gas motor does the same thing with straight pipes but if u have no mufflers with cats it will stop at the cats but with hollow pipe from the manifolds or headers down to the tips there will be nothing to stop it

  • sounds so good. whats your exact exhaust setup?

  • @NICK00065 straight pipe catback true dual...3.5 inch tips i think...cant remember too much details.. it was two years ago. But i got a new cam and Im bout to post a better vid with better sound and shit

  • Sounds sick bro, I was thinking that I would do something like that maybe with an x pipe still doing my research tho.

  • nice truck man

  • @Country1111Boy thanks mannn

  • what size piping do you have and what size tips

  • @as6900 3.5" for both i believe

  • what mufflers do u use for your true duel system?

  • @Customdrummer17 hints the name straight pipes

  • @Customdrummer17 I know what your thinking when I thought they said straight pipes I thought they ment they were littarly straight pipes but it just means you don't have mufflers on it the term straight pipe means it's nothing but pipe no muffler and sometimes taking the cats off to which you can get in trouble if you get caught

  • @pearldrumsarecool thanks

  • bet them deers love that

  • Comment removed

  • man that sounds fucking sexy

  • Im buyin the magnaflow catback system with no muffler and replacing it with a Y pipe, do i need anything else like some tubings?

  • @BigCaTnTrucks i have no idea mann...sorry

  • @tipc843 nevermind haha, check my exhaust out dude.

  • That will scare the deer away.

  • Sounds good man. does your truck have the fuel management system where it cuts out some of the cylinders when on the highway?? i can't remember if they put em in the 2007 classic body styles. nice lab

  • nope i dont have that on my truck...haha and thanks thats my huntin buddy

  • @ABCMAN94 classic body style? 07 has 2 differnt ones?

  • @youdragon Yes in 2007 they started makin the new body style and they made a classic body style which looks just like a 2006 year model truck

  • Hey man, is the engine all stock on this?

  • sure is bud

  • well its catbacks not straight pipes but it still sounds good

  • i mean technically yea, but most everybody know them as straights. hahaha....thanks for the comment

  • okk so you still have your cats right?? so did they just run a bigger pipe from the heads and also after the cat?also did you lose and hp or did you gain alot?

  • that sounds nice as hell im gonna get some sraights on my truck but thats like 3 years away haha

  • @yearginN-hey same here

  • what all did u do to it man it sound great

  • just cut the muffler out and ran two straights from the cat back

  • oh i just cut the muffler out off mine an ran the dual out the back off just one pipe

  • what all you got done to it.. and how much??

  • true dual straights and tires thats about it...

    exhaust was about 300

  • i just have one question, how did you overcome the mass o2 sensor problem? any issues with performance after the install?

  • it only happens seems to happen during longer drives.

i first noticed it before i got straights, when i actually had flowmasters. but its not that bad, i just deal with it.

  • i can answer that the mass o2 sensor is not affected because you can't run true duals without leaving tha cats on and they are what affect the o2 sensor

  • did you lose a lot of low end power with the 3 inch pipin?

  • yeah i lost a bit

but it makes up for it when i hear them pipes poppin hahahahahaaa

  • What liter is this truck man! Cause I gotta 08 silverado 4.8 liter with flowmasters and this is exactly how I want mine to sound.

  • damn u are hard on it. sounds better moving

  • Truck Sounds Sick!

I have this truck but the Sierra

Exactly how i want mine to sound!

did you have a muffler shop do this?

do u know if they cut the y pipe off and ran two pipes down each side of truck?

    Sweet Video

  • yeah

i originally had split dual flowmasters(not loud enough.hahaha)

but then i just got the y pipe cut out and ran two pipes from the cat back.

it was a local tire and exhaust shop

  • nice! so does it have one pipe coming down drivers side of truck and one down the right?

how much did all the piping and installation cost ya?

  • yeah

    like 150

  • damn, that was cheap

  • whats ur setup? u got headers and a downpipe?

  • just true dual straights

    stock headers and stock downpipe

  • those stock cats or high flows? Sounds good

  • stock

    thanks

  • what size piping do you have under and what size tips...this is what i want on my truck so if theres any other details you could give me please do...cats really???

  • i got 3 inch pipes and 3.5 inch tips

  • did you have your cats taken off too?

  • naaaa

  • wouldnt do that when its cold, cracked block.

  • it was cold

but i had been driving for a while

  • damn man that sounds amazing. best straight pipes i've ever heard
