my lil 2 yr old niece is whinning for every reason she can find, i think some times she can just be whinning to whine, course when we was growing up, my mother would say" knock it off before i give u something to whine about" lol naturally we would hush. but she is much smarter, she says "i can't to everything" but she can, she does a lot more then a 5 yr old does. And its just on simple things, she is well behaved but i would love to get pass this stage, i might try these simple words... :) W2D

I love the book. I have a usually very well behaved three year old, but i do use the "Love you too much to argue" technique. My daughter turns around and says "Can you love me a little less?" :) So we have kids who are challenging love and logic:) Regardless, the techniques work and what works most is the encouragement to keep calm and rise above the fray.
