At :36 you can clearly see that is says Bentham... When we first see Jack going to the morgue and no one is there... it's to see Bentham's body. It is the exact same time that we later see why Ben tells them they have to go back in the end of season 4 and beginning of season 5

I don't still know if this is a flashforward or a flashback. I do know (or nor lol) that Jack is Jacob, only older. Try to have a glimpse at Jacob in one of the episodes and you'll be surprised. I also believe that the man who died is Ben, because Kate is so reluctant on attending the funeral. Well... I'm still very LOST lol.

I don't think we've met this character yet. He will be Jack's only means to get back to the island. Once he dies, Jack is forever stuck in the 'real world'. :)
