This idea may become reality for DJ Hero 3 if it ever comes out.

Search on Google "DJ Hero 3 ideas" and it should be the top listed article. The developers are currently working on ideas for the next game after DJ Hero 2 and this was included within it. If it falls through, then this will technically be an "Expert+" mode since the original format for the game is one turntable gameplay/two seperate turntable gameplay. Frankly, i would LOVE a mode like that, just because of the added challenge :)

@pbpman1 If you searched correctly, they NEVER stated it was cancelled, they only stated it was put "on hold" along with Guitar Hero. There have been big rumors that this year Guitar Hero is going to come back, and to go even further with this, when Guitar Hero was "cancelled" their ENTIRE development team was cut off from Activision, however they seemed to have been brought to life to make a "secret" project with Activision. FreeStyleGames is still very much alive and is ALSO working with them.

It works but the fact is the game only has one record on screen so having two doesn't make the game better... however having two and using on the pc as a midi controller in virtual dj would be pretty sweet.. although i don't think the controller understands there are two decks connected to it...

no, cause the boards work seperatly and individualy

when i'm using one, i cant use the other instantly

like i said, i hav to hold a button on the non-active board to use it

ok i have tried this and found a way to make it work fluently. You can switch between decks after a period of time. About the length of freestyle crossfades. Im not sure if you knew this already but the game is a lot more fun like this. Also after rewinds you can switch but you have start perfectly timed. Really, do this is actually Closer to real dj-ing. I hope this is useful alhtough you prabobly do not play anymore.

you normally can use the turntable on the left or right because there are 2 holes for the mix-set

i borrowed my friends mix-set ( the slider and such) and put it on my turntable

the visial of the scratchboard was cool

I've noticed and heard about this myself. I've even out it together just as u have. But I never actually tried to play with both I can't believe it actually works!! If they ever incorporate this. Its gonna be soo sick! Just imagine what u were doing but on an extreme level where u would have to keep switching sides in order to get points. Not just to switch on your own like u were doing. it would be tight if you can use two turntables like that. Maybe in DJ Hero 2 they will allow it. But i also think they might have two runways going on at the same time; 1 for each side that way you can switch from left to right or even bothe at the same time. Cant wait!! :)
