I just got this projecter and am very happy. the rainbow affect is visable but your brain gets over it and u dont notice it in the end color is great and brightness is good. any one thinking of getting it, u should its good.
@ameern999n This was the first DLP (single chip) projector i owned and the rainbow effect was just too much. I have seen the panasonic PTAE 4000 and my budget is £2000, for that price range the Panasonic, seems the best.
The Panasonic gets rid of the boarders you get from 16:9 movies, which are visible on projectors.
For £800 the Acer is complete bargain, amazing picture, HDMI (even though it only has ONE HDMI port) 1080p and if your eyes don't pic up on the rainbow i would recommend it %110.
Nice review I might grab one when I move out into a Studio Apartment and just hook up my PS3 and gaming rig to it. :D
